This podcast client is must have! Works great and icloud sync is very nice feature. Also possibility to backup downloaded episodes to icloud is marvelous. With my podcast backlog and episodes disappearing from feeds that feature helps a lot when changing to new phone!
Hienosti pelaa sync Macin, iPhonen ja iPadin välillä. Muutenkin ominaisuuksia piisaa.
Monet kehuvat Overcastia, mutta ainakin omassa käytössä tämä on parempi.
I have been using Downcast for a long time, both on IOS and OSX (disclaimer: I am an unpaid beta tester who can be very critical and discovers issues). It is true the softrware has suffered a little recently, but the one-man developer is burning the midnight oil and paddling rapidly behind the scenes and some “good news” will emerge in the near future. If everything goes according to plan, the software will be even stronger and have better foundations to take it forward. It is still capable of doing what it promises. The sync will get better I’ve been told (the issue is Apple’s technology, but the sync method will be changed to something more reliable). For a good podcast app, this is worth a try. I cannot comment on the iWatch latest gizmo though.
I just updated to the latest version and now nothing plays, downloaded or streamed doesnt matter.
Hyvä podcast-sovellus. Asetuksia ja ominaisuuksia on hyvin paljon, mikä johtaa myös siihen, että paikoitellen on vaikeuksia hahmottaa mikä tekee mitäkin ja mistä se yksi juttu löytyykään. Omaan makuuni Overcast on parempi.
Feature-rich, works great!
Aika tekninen käyttöliittymä, mutta ajaa asiansa. Kaikki tarpeellinen on mahdollista.
Hardly anything negative to say about the app. The app icon is horribly amateurish though. The letter D is weirdly shaped and I hate that I have to look at it as it is mocking me through the screen.
Excellent podcast management, multi-speed listening, syncs automatically with my iPad and iPod, doesn't need a computer, frequent updates and quick fixes to the very minor bugs I've noticed… I am a heavy podcast user and thus somewhat biased, and I also have a lot of apps. This one has the best value for money for all apps I've used in the App store.
