I bought both the mac and the iPhone apps and it is really nice. Can i make a small suggestion? Please differentiate the played episodes from the unplayed more clearly. Faded out grey amongst a more clear grey is not easily visible especially when there are lot of episodes. You can perhaps provide something like a green tick mark? Just a suggestion. Everything is fine otherwise.
After fiddling with dozens of settings, I for the life of me can’t find one simple thing A LIST OF LATEST EPISODES OF SUBSCRIBED PODCASTS. Sure there’s this first tab where all the podcasts are listed. But Even there, there’s no indication that there’re new episodes available (you’ll have to go through each podcast and figure by looking at the dates of the episodes). What the hell. Thought before deleting the aap, should share this.
Been using this app for years. Tried a few other apps, but keep coming back to this. It is simple to use & has all the features I could think of and normally need.

This podcast app has some fundamental problems, ok once i subscribed to 10 podcast the app lagged a lot and there was a difficulty in getting the updates (which is unacceptable) for a podcast app. Whenever i subscribe to a podcast, it says NO episode available, i know my subscriptions are updated so i have to tap more in order to list out out all the episodes and there i found out all my episodes There was no problem in audio, no lag or skipping, its UI is ok but not architected well, i got this app for a dollar so no regret on my purchase
Many animations are slow on iPad 3 please fix this and please add album art view like apple podcast app if possible
All that you can ask of a podcast app, and then some more! This is the app I use the most on my iPhone and iPad - 3-4 hours a day on the commute, gym and to watch video podcasts.
I haven't used any other podcast client. Heard great reviews about Downcast so purchased it. I use it to listen to audio Cricket podcasts and it does the job perfectly. The U/I is good and user friendly. Recommended.
I had no probs with this. Easy to use. Download all your podcasts for listening in the car.
