Dr. Prius is an app developed to help professional Toyota/Lexus hybrid repair shop or owners to examine the health of the High Voltage battery. It turns your mobile device into a professional diagnostic equipment that usually cost thousand of dollars, it is being trusted by 253+ professional repair shops around the world.

Dr. Prius perform test and provides access to all the relevant battery information to quickly help identify problems with a simple touch on the screen of a smartphone, do not fall victim to bad battery, test the battery and print the certificate to prove the health of the battery system.

It connects to my obd2 Bluetooth device but doesn’t work. App shuts off during test. Refund requested

Works great - must have correct OBD2 adapter

This app works great with the right adapter. Bad reviews are a result of not using the correct adapter. Go to the developer’s website to see recommended/junk adapters. The developer has the best customer service I have ever experienced. I have contacted him repeatedly with questions about installing my hybrid battery and he always responds within a few hours. I recently upgraded my hybrid battery and accidentally crimped of the wires (my fault). Developer sent me a shipping label that same day, repaired it upon receipt, and returned it with express shipping. Thank you, J.

Can’t do my Prius 2007

The app description in the App Store says my car is in the list of cars that it can work with. Then after I pay the fee of $14-$15 then it says it doesn’t work with my car. So now I have to go through all the difficult process of trying to get my money back because Apple doesn’t make it easy! before it charged me, it should’ve checked to see if my car would work with it!! Poorly designed app!

Turn off the beeps

I bought the Veepeak odbcheck BLE, and was able to use this app with it. I plugged the veepeak into the Prius, connected my phone to it through the app, not the Bluetooth menu, and I was able to turn off the reverse beeps and the seatbelt beep in like 5 seconds. It was amazing. It’s not my car, so I’m not looking for the diagnostic parts of the app. To change the basic setting and to see the error codes, this app is fantastic.

Don’t go for the IOS app if you can

First I would like a refund. Because I paid twice. How and why did I do that let me explain. I purchased the app and based upon Dr. Prius’ recommendation I purchased an approved ODB. It came and the app connected the ODB but just hung up repeatedly. It would never get beyond confirming connection. No data from my Prius would ever display. Reading the developers comments to others who complained they advised it was the ODBs fault. So I decided to purchase via Amazon every approved ODB. No of them worked with the app. Then I got the idea to pull out an old android tablet. Purchased the Dr Prius app from the Google play store. I know why would I pay again when it didn’t work the first time..well it worked. And it worked with every ODB. My conclusion is it’s the IOS version that is a problem. So if you want to use this app go Android. Dr. Prius developer please refund me the 36 bucks I spent on a dead app.

Use good OBD 2 plug

Hey fellow Hybrid owners. I’m pro mechanic. To not have multiple crashes please buy this OBD 2 plug nog cheaper than $100. I’m using my BASF PLUG many years with this app. Focus and pay attention. Don’t be momboys.

Best support ever

This is the best supported app ever. Immediate response from the developer via email. I took time with detailed focus, and read many reviews to arrive at the recommended: ”Veepeak OBDCheck BLE Bluetooth OBD II Scanner Auto Diagnostic Scan Tool for iOS & Android, Bluetooth 4.0 Car Check Engine Light Code Reader” for iPhone use (iOS 14.8.1). Works flawlessly, but iPhone is a strange thing compared to android. Be patient, email the developer, and they will assist in troubleshooting any issues, virtually all are caused by Bluetooth or WiFi OBD2 issues. The app is indispensable for working on Prius or hybrid synergy drives. Turning off the dreaded backup and seatbelt beeping is just icing on the cake.

Refund my money

Hi. I bought your app but it doesn't work with my obd adapter. Please cancel my purchase and refund my money. I don't want to buy a new obd adapter.

Prius Reverse Beep

Just got my first Prius and immediately learned how incredibly annoying driving in reverse can be with a constant beep. Not a great way to start any day when you first get in the car. Quick Google search brought me to this app and the creator’s VERY detailed site. Purchased one of the Bluetooth OBD2 tools suggested on Priusapp[dot]com for iPhone (NEXAS NexLink). With a couple minutes of setup I was able to accomplish the goal of getting reverse to beep ONCE. Very grateful for this app and its creator! 2018 Prius Two and iPhone 13 Pro, if that helps anyone looking into this!
