DRINK (Manchester) will help you discover and find the very best bars in Manchester. Whether you’re looking for a hidden lane-way bar for a quiet date, a rooftop bar for a few craft beers in the sun with your mates, or a basement Caribbean bar for a few rounds of rum and a boogie, our app has it all! Featuring several images of each bar and a useful description of the bars, the app gives a good overview of each bar to help you decide whether it’s the place for you. You can browse bars by alphabetical order, or if you’re looking for something in particular, you can filter the results down; looking for a bar that has an impressive beer menu? Easy. Or state of the art whiskey menu? Easy. What about a bar that is known for serving up some delicious meals? You guessed it… easy! If you’re not sure where the bar is (which is quite often the case with all the best bars being well hidden!) you can easily get on-map directions from your current location to the bars doorstep with a quick touch of a button. FIND NEARBY BARS If you’re not fond of trekking around the city for a drink, make use of the built-in map feature to see your current location and nearby bars. Waste of time -- Heapy71, 2013-07-09 ### ***** "Nothing but 5 stars.." I have been to quite a few pubs in Liverpool and the surrounding areas, but when it came to Manchester, I didn't have a clue, so this app came in very handy when I had to suggest a good pub to visit in Manchester, with an easy to use filtering system, this app made our night a success. All we need now is a follow-up app for the rest of the UK. -- hey.its.lee, 2013-01-10 ### ***** "Handy app when visiting Manchester" Visited Manchester for a weekend from London to catch up with some friends at Uni there. Found some great bars and loved being able to sort by bars who also sell good food! Great app all round! -- misscaitlin2k, 2013-01-06 ### ***** "Great App" This is a great app. I've been looking for something like this for a while and it works really well. -- Dan-86, 2013-01-06 ### ***** "Drinking Heaven" When i hitched a ride to Manchester i was wanting to explore and go to a few pubs and enjoy the night life that Manchester offers. I wanted something different, unique and something that i would enjoy to explore and get sense of pubs with special beers. I got this app in time for a truly amazing week in Manchester. I found some great places from this app that had some truly british beer and tasted great too. It guides you perfectly to places and has some amazing details which in some cases you need. An app worth getting if you want to explore different pubs and areas where great tasting beers live in and around Manchester. -- tomw2810, 2013-01-06 ### ***** "Very handy when visiting Manchester!" I'm a fussy beer drinker (refuse to drink all the cheap bubbly beers in England) and Drink Manchester really helps find the best beer bars in Manchester! -- callumchapman, 2013-01-06 ### ***** "Awesome concept" It's a "one of a kind" app. I've never before seen anything like it. I am just amazed by the attention to detail and functionally within it.
