Drive safe and get rewarded! Drivewise® is a free application that gives drivers the ability to save up to 30% on their auto insurance!*

For a six-month period the app will monitor your driving behavior and provide you with detailed information on: 
1. Time and duration of your trips
2. Harsh or extreme braking events
3. Excessive Speed
Once the monitoring period is complete, the discount you’ve qualified for will be applied automatically. Not only will you be able to save money on your premium but you’ll receive valuable feedback on your driving habits, which will help make you a better driver, while keeping our roadways safer.

### *---- "Worst tracking app!"
Extemely inaccurate app!!! It always records me with phone usage when all I'm doing is leaving the navigator on without touching the phone. Another example, I drove to Tims, got out of car, order and take phone out to pay, get back in car, drive back without touching the phone again. And yep it recorded the trip with phone usage when the only thing I did was using phone in Tims Hortons while not driving at all.

Both me and my wife have iPhones.
On the same ride two brakes were detected on my wife’s phone,  itching on mine, but it was normal driving!
I’ve changed my phone a week ago, since then at least a brake is detected daily… but in the last three months I almost had no brakes detected.
Somethings not right, I never go over 120km and I always keep distance from the car ahead.
Very disappointed in this app.

### **--- "App detect normal breaking as harsh breaking"
App is not designed well, it will assumed harsh braking even you put the brake lightly. I think since it’s going to measure your driving with wrong algorithms it will be not be fair to consider a discount parameter. I think designing such an app requires a lot of data to be ingested to make analytical decisions, since they detect light braking as harsh that denotes they don't have enough driving data and decision made on insufficient datasets could lead to wrong interpretations which why this app is horrible.

### *---- "Unsafe to even seasoned drivers."
Yes, I used it 4 years ago, just realized I was not getting the promised discount all along. Prompted to signup again. Thus, my 46 years impeccable driving records (Zero accidents) didn’t count to any discount. 

My safety been alert and my breaking measures prompt to disqualify me for a discount. Selling vehicle discount does not apply. Removing second driver also could affect rating. This App. Is invasive to your privacy on your back and location at all times or not! 

When driving the posted speed limit you putting yourself and others on the road at higher risk by been run off by other drivers especially on the 400’s series highways, nevertheless, inter city highways not better off. It become too dangerous with drive wise app. and picking on users at all time so they do not get the discount. So I opt-out before I become complicit and worse a victim.  I propose a new name: (The black hole ride not so wise) where one would don’t see the light of the day. Do yourself a favour, stay-a-live and write an honest review!

### *---- "Scam and dangerous"
Please stay away from this piece of junk and make your lives easier because not only this app distracts you while driving it also gives you false discount till the last day, I was over 28% discount for the whole time and on the last day it calculated at 15% which is ridiculous. I would recommend to stay away!! I forgot to add the worst thing about this app is if your phone rings or you get a text message it counts as phone usage even if you do not touch your phone which it says for informational purposes but I don’t think so, I am so annoyed that I got into this scam feels so cheated.

### ***** "Got 6 consecutive 30%s awesome"
The braking count is confusing but pl ignore and drive as usual carefully. I got 6 consecutive 30%s inspite of braking counts (upto 12 max in a month), zero speeding kms and a lot of phone usage (bluetooth calls counted). 

So overall i am very happy. Donno how exactly this final 30% honored during next renewal but will update here.

Filled in address in my places section, does not memorize the application, only leaves its example.
At the beginning and end of movement, it writes that I touch the screen 1 time, although I keep the phone in my bag. And so every trip.

This app is garbage. Multiple times I’ve been marked for harsh braking in the middle of a long stretch of road, without slowing down at all.

### ****- "Pretty Accurate"
I see a lot of reviews about it not being accurate but I’ve been using it for almost a month now and everything is accurate. I don’t have any issues with “hard braking” like other people have said. Only thing I have to complain about is if you have CarPlay, it will say you used your phone, even if you didn’t touch it or the screen that controls it. You can be parked in your driveway and it will say you used ur phone. So that’s one really annoying part that needs to be fixed. Other than that, everything else works great!
