Ho provato quasi tutte le app di questo genere e devo dire che questa mi ha convinto parecchio. La schermata Dashboard con il colpo d’occhio generale in stile UAV Forecast trovo sia la scelta migliore. Le info sono chiare, sebbene troverei più appropriato avere una grafica moderna con un tema scuro che contrasti meglio. Mancano le informazioni sul vento a differenti altitudini. Sarebbe utile poter impostare i threshold per le singole voci e, magari, usare colori differenti per le caselle, quando il valore supera il threshold.

Non sarebbe neppure male se non fosse che quando si clicca il tab vento l’applicazione va in crash e si chiude. Parzialmente inutilizzabile.

Unlike apps that you can normally have on your phone or iPad. This is limited to only 1 mobile device , which makes it way less useful overall. Very disappointing and no clear until after purchase .

I love this app. At the time of this writing, it is way too cold to fly a drone over Minnesota’s frozen tundra, but the Drone Forecast app is still my go to source for weather. It contains everything I need to know at a glance without all the gimmicky fluff that clutters standard weather apps. And sometime in mid-July, after the igloo melts, it will be the perfect source for weather information before launching my drone. Most importantly for drone pilots, it lays out the current and forecast surface winds and winds aloft in an easily understood format. Those forecasts are hourly and extend for five days. There is also a section that features temperature, precipitation, wind, pressure and radar maps. Again, the animated wind map is essential for avoiding the trap of flying with a tail wind and needing to return upwind with diminishing battery power. Drone Forecast includes an invaluable world map showing restricted airspace and a checklist of preflight considerations. Whether you fly a drone or not, this is an excellent app for obtaining precise weather information.

Cancel app , there is no cancel button in App Store

the map just zooms out and doesn't localize a place that you search for... which is the whole reason i downloaded this app

Winds are 60+ and the app say 27.

Great app. In the hobby store we pass it on for model rocketeers to help judge winds aloft, but there appears to be no usage unless you pay. We’ll have to go back using A8-3’s for wind direction.

I used to use UAV Forecast, but that started to charge me money even though I was using the free version. So I switched to this. This is much better than UAV Forecast. It has more info, more details, and more helpful in what I’m looking for. There’s just one thing: I can’t figure out why it is still showing that I have not open the geolocation settings when I have multiple times. Please fix the bug fast.
