Use it daily working in pediatric ICU, the standard reference
No fuss drug reference for Paeds and adults. App based reference replaces the original small book format and improves on usability with out all the old coffee stains on it. I use it several times a week in my practice and exam study.
I’ve used it in far flung bush hospitals, and even on an aeroplane. Probably my number one drug dosing reference.
I paid 22.99 AUD on 23/10/16 for this App. Receipt number is MQM6K0LZ9L. I still have the receipt. It is absolutely ridiculous that I have been asked to pay another 5 dollars. There is no end to this man’s greed. Would not recommend to anyone. Giving 1 star as no option to give negative stars.
The actual content of this app (the stuff in the book) is brilliant. It’s presentation within the app however, is awful. Slabs of unformatted text, no support for modern screen sizes and no updates for over a year. It’s not like it’s cheap either.
Every time I make a payment it says I’m not allowed to make a payment.:
I have moved from using Franks book to the app when it first appeared in the App Store. I’m certain there was no “2 year” license at the time. The app is great but I’m sure the updates have slipped in this 2 year thing. It’s flat out greedy double dipping and I’m very upset about it. App content itself rates five stars. Admin crew looking after it rates one star. Would love to hear a developer response.
I bought this app years ago. I recall no explanation of licensing options at the time. Now it is expected that a second payment is made for a “lifetime license” to continue using the app. Is this even permissible under App Store rules? It sets a bad precedent. I would like to hear the developer response.
Basically the electronic version of frank shann's pediatric drug dose bible. I depend on this almost every day. Developer is a hard working doc who is very responsive to fixes and suggestions.
The new version looks better, has more functionality and is still easy to use (take note imims...)
