Love this app! I don't know how I could possibly do my shamanic journeys without it. Absolutely wonderful, and I love how customizable it is.

You've found Drum Journey, the first app for shamanic journeying.
Shamanic journeying, as you probably already know, is a kind of insight meditation. It’s a spiritual practice that combines visualization with acoustic accompaniment, usually fast drumming or rattling.
Drum Journey works like a timer; dial in the journey duration, set your options, and tap Start. Included in the app are several professionally-produced drum and rattle tracks, and you can also import your own from iTunes.

For centuries, shamans have used journeying to gain insight and clarity. I was inspired to create this app while participating in the three year program of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies.

I very much enjoy this app. I like being able to alter the length and rhythm of the drumming. I also enjoy being able to add my own songs to the list. I wish there was an option for a slower drum that comes with the app automatically. That's my only complaint so far.

Drum too fast
The drum beats are all way too fast now even on the slowest setting. This sadly isn't usable for me like this. I have the most recent update.

I keep this on my home screen!
The first time I used it to journey, it made diving and climbing a whole lot easier. The call back is also appreciated.
Slow drum beat!
It’s been really hard to find drumming - in apps OR on YouTube - that feature a very slow beat. This app does and I’m so grateful! I’m only giving four stars though because the only category that offers the slow drum beat is the only category that doesn’t have callback -_- PLEASE ADD A CALL BACK FEATURE FOR THE CEREMONIAL DRUM
