Drum Notes Reviews

Sound quality and features

Isaiah Cabingas on

United States

Hello, what I mean is I’m not good at editing due to my visual impairment, but I’m good at playing drums or different instruments, if you can, could you please add a feature where you can play the individual instruments by tapping on the drum or other percussion instrument, and the marching percussion sounds needs to be improved

App crashes constantly.

Borodog on

The app crashes constantly.

Too many glitches

Jeremymw004 on

United States

I wanted to continue with the app but sometimes my previously created playlists don’t show up unless I open and close the app numerous times. Then, when they do finally show, I am unable to listen to them when pushing play. Difficult to support app when it is functioning like this. Correct the issues and I’ll edit my review

It’s good

Ratio VR on

United States

It’s really nice and a great app but it crashes ALL THE TIME and it’s annoying

Great App But…

tomadois_god on

United States

Amazing app! I really do love it and see the huge potential in it, although it’s bugged a tiny bit so I’m just going get on to my complaints. PLEASE fix the bug with the accents, the accents literally don’t work, they work at first but once you save and exit the score and then return, the accents are gone and it’s so annoying. Also please make it easier to make accented beats, it’s mad annoying having to click them individually. Also just personal preference, but I don’t like the sound of the new Tom drum, the old one sounded clearer, but that’s just a bit pick. Tysm! I love this app just please fix the accents! (I had written a review alr but I don’t think it saved so yeah)

Crash and accents

soapmaster46 on

United States

It’s a really good app, to be honest i used to use it all the time but for some reason every time i try to go into my saved rhythms it ends up crashing at a certain point it. i can’t seem to get past it because it keeps crashing. also the accents really don’t work at all. plz fix

Decent with some insane bugs

Landon Rob. Martin on

United States

Only 3 projects for free, no diddle option, and insane glitches and bugs. The app closes out several times a minute. I can’t even fully listen to one of my projects because it closes out so often. Also, one day (when it was less glitchy) I had made about 10 measures, and it closed out and deleted all of it. I initially liked this app for its simplicity and how quick it is to make something like a marching drum cadence. However, it is near-impossible at times.

Sounds lag

Coiik on

United States

The ui for creating grooves is weird but usable. What really gets this app down is the sounds on the drum kit are late creating flam type sounds when played back. For example, a kick drum a 16th note before a snare drum creates a laggy feel. Hard to practice with, please fix, would by pro. Thank you

Is there a 8th note/ 1 time division option??

kai/astra on

United States

The apps alright, I downloaded it recently to hear how my new cadence will sound but I can’t find a 8th note option.

Absolute game changer. A drummers best friend

J_McChunkyDunk on

United States

The App Store is saturated with apps that say they do some sort of drum notation but fall vastly short of a desirable mobile solution. Drumap sets itself apart from this by actually doing what it says it will do. It’s a great tool for writing quick ideas on the go while not at your kit, workshopping grooves and fills, and/or writing instruction material for drumming students. I can’t express enough how much this tool has helped me on my drumming journey. Do yourself a favor and download it now.
