Absolutely one of the best drum machines I have ever used. And for what it’s worth I’ve been professionally using drum machines since 1984. Pushes the boundaries on what is possible with computer generated rhythm-making. Initially I found the sound I was getting out of it a bit too harsh for my style of music-making, but it’s is so well conceived that me and DC began to influence one another over the course of a year—I’ve changed aspects my sound and ways of working for the better because of it. Bravo Sugar Bytes.
Misleading list of features
Just know the list of features in description is for FULL version that costs $29.99. I installed thinking free version includes AUv3 support, but it’s an in-app purchase. I’d rather just know what the features costs than get disappointed wasting my time installing and trying it before seeing the real price tag.
Great app, but ,Sound quality lowered to improve cpu performance.
I imported a thick juicy kick and it sounds like an 8 bit kick. Horrible sound quality . All sounds are 8 bit at most. Try it yourself. Import a good sound and hear what they do to it. Horrible.
Very deep, very fun
You can tweak sounds into the wee hours if you like, but there’s also immediacy and spontaneity through the randomization features. The sequencer is a joy, one of the best drum sequencers out there in my opinion. Well worth the money.

I wish they would make a hardware version of it, i’d buy it instantly, twisting real knobs.
I have multiple elektron boxes, but i hook up my ipad to my octatrack so i can run this, as its so good!
Good for weird drums
For the life of me I can’t find a decent normal kit… like for hip hop. Everything is like low fi and weird…. Can nobody make an MPC style sequencer, sampler, that actually works? No, the Akai one is garbage.
Thee iOS Drum Machine
Certainly iOS has had a massive amount of auv3 plugins in the last few years but one lacking was a really good creative drum machine and drum synth. Until now. This is a real game changer for myself anyways. The creators of the incredible Aparillo, Turnado, Effectrix and etc have really come through with a super deep, flexible and creative drum synth with an extremely well thought out sequencer to boot.

This is totally awesome can’t stop playing with it and there are some really in depth vids on YouTube to help to make this the do everything app my best app in the rack
Good but Can’t Share with Family
I bought this and am happy with it’s performance but I can’t family share it with my other iPad. For $29.99 it should at least be shareable with my other device.
