## DrumPerfect Pro Description
DrumPerfect Pro is without doubt the most complete, open, fully programmable drum/percussion music production system ever created for iPad. The wealth of professional features it offers is just astonishing. Yet its most distinguished quality is probably its confounding capacity to emulate so musically the human feel of pro drummers performances in any genre, as you will see.

Here is what Gilbert Medam, professional composer and arranger, creator of the pack collection as well as designer of the new UI writes:
In the musical consciousness, rhythm is without question a most fundamental element. Combining movement with numbers, it is found in music all around the world and at any period of human history.
Musicians, particularly drummers and percussionists by nature excel in precise body movement, coordination and inevitably inspire listeners to join the dance. On the other hand computer systems excel, by design, in powerful processing of numbers. We are constantly, Marinus and I, attentive to this simple fact when refining and expanding DrumPerfect Pro. Because we want our app to excel in coming as close as it can be, to a perfect integration of both performances.
In this new version, if you are passionate about rhythms, drums and beyond, you will find, we think, the best companion for your music adventure and production. Its flexibility will surprise you. Program on multitrack/layers, multi-velocity sampling, the most intricate patterns, improvising songs. Unleash your wildest experimentation in the creative and fun process.

It is the high end app of choice for:
- drums/percussions professional track production
- live performance with the brand new AUv3 player
- practice and training for musicians in any musical genre
- easy loading and playing of your own library of midi files.
- study, understanding and experimenting from the massive collection of world rhythms available in the packs.

High-quality music packs available as IAP, in many different music styles and ready to be used in your own productions.

## DrumPerfect Pro Reviews in United States

### ***** "A Masterpiece - Give it Your Time"
I have had this app for a long time, it is the only one of its kind for iOS. It has such potential but the feature set is essentially hidden. Apparently the dynamic layers have been increased but how to use them is a mystery. Many functions are hidden behind a ‘long press.’ Which add ons do I own? Who knows? There is no indication on the Store page. I really wish there was proper documentation and or demonstrations. Such a top rate app with such a sad stumbling block.

UPDATE IN 2026: This app is a masterpiece. If you take the time with it, it is unmatched and can produce the best sequences. Excellent for the physically challenged percussionist through age or disability.

### ***** "Can’t restore purchases"
Dear developer I had made in app purchases on here before but can’t restore them please fix thanks 🙂
-- Jonavin Jackson, 2025-11-11

### ***** "Congratulations on the second life of the application"
Glitches in AU3, Inter-App, at least in Cubasis 3, still need to be fixed.
-- Rakshitar, 2025-07-21

### ****- "Great app but"
In 2024 there needs an update. In using drum-effect pro with logic on iPad there doesn’t seem to be a way to use the apps together. All I am able to get is a demo beat to play through.
-- Agiantslayer, 2024-10-24

### ***** "Great sounding drums"
Sounds so good. There is an excellent quick start guide that is over twenty pages. Top notch! It is a deep program and there are videos on youtube that spell it out. I was put off by an earlier comment about the dev not having information on how to use the program, but between the videos and the quick start its really good value.
-- Andreslocousa, 2023-12-20

### ****- "yay"
Add live MIDI OUT and ill be happy and shut up, please

This makes me so happy. Please bring this update

### **--- "Dear Developer"
I opened up your app again today because I have always wanted to take advantage of what it offers. I’ve owned it for years, but the frustration it caused always defeated my efforts to sort it out.

However, I have an exciting project that really needs a human feel and a realistic acoustic sound, so I was determined to finally understand how to use your app. And, with hours of effort, I finally started to piece together enough information from the manual and quick guide to begin to feel like it’s going to eventually all make sense. Not enough to actually do what I want yet, but enough to feel confident that I’ll get there.

That’s when I decided I’m never going to recommend your app, and I’m going to try to find an alternative as soon as I finish this review. Because once I started to see how it works, I realized that you could have just explained and demonstrated it it to your users in a few thoughtfully constructed tutorials. Or you could have introduced improvements to the interface. Or—given the number of years since the app was originally released—you could have done both.

So, congratulations. DrumPerfect Pro isn’t the only music app that I found challenging to learn, but it is the only one that made me feel contempt for its creator. Your app is an insult to musicians whose time should be spent making music, not untangling some mad developer’s brain (while paying for the privilege). You should be embarrassed and ashamed.
-- Grape App, 2022-06-02

### **--- "Overly complicated"
Okay. I just got the stock kits to trigger with a Roland Octapad spd- 30, so I decided to move forward with the app. I soon discovered there’s no easy way to disable pattern play, and simply play kits live. I poked around and erased the patterns, but upon a reboot I’m back to digging around on how to disable. Next, I decided to purchase the rock kit (demos of all kits not loading BTW) and I can’t figure out where to access the new kit. Where the new kit I just purchased? It’s seeming like this is way more complicated than it needs to be. I’ll be looking for a refund soon, cause I don’t have time for endless futzing

### ***** "Feature request"
Hi I absolutely love the app the only thing I am missing is the ability to select all the midi patterns at once or multiple ones at that and export them all at once but separated files for each pattern. Could this be a feature? Thank you for your time.
-- rathernotmakeanickname, 2021-11-26

### ****- "Historically love the app, but experiencing frustrating crashes"
I am having a crashing issue every time I hit the load button on the song tab. Running iPad Pro 9.7” iOS 14.3. Please help!
