## DST-01 Description
Welcome to DST-01 by True Severity LLC!

DST-01 is an advanced advisory app designed to evaluate mild steel (e.g., ASTM A36) shielding against energized projectiles from pressure equipment failures. Ideal for professionals engaged in pressure equipment testing and hazard risk mitigation. 

Key Features:

- Pressure Hazard and Projectile Shielding Assessment: Analyzes the effectiveness of protective mild steel panels against pressurized releases.
- User Input Parameters: Enter fluid type (e.g., water, oil, or nitrogen), maximum fluid pressure and volume, projectile details, fracture mechanism, and shielding dimensions.
- Attachment Strength Calculation: Outputs approximate weld or fastener strength requirements for protective mild steel panels.
- Severity Gauge: Provides users with an energy-based severity gauge to assist with pressure hazard risk assessments. 

Usage Instructions:

1. Choose between single projectile and diverging projectiles evaluation.
2. Select fluid type (e.g., water, oil, or nitrogen) and enter the maximum fluid pressure and volume.
3. Input projectile details, including seal and impact diameters and engagement length.
4. Select fracture mechanism (i.e., ductile or brittle fracture).
5. Enter mild steel shielding panel dimensions (i.e., width, height, and thickness).
