## Dubloon Description
Dubloon is four voice games in one app, and none of them needs anything but your microphone.

MOVIE SCENE DUB

Load a scene and dub it yourself. Dubloon plays you the original line, shows you the picture and the words, and gives you the exact length to hit. Then you record your take. The waveform of the original sits under yours, so you can see where you came in early, where you rushed, and where you left a gap.

• Line by line, at your own pace. Stop and pick it up again whenever you like
• The original delivery in your headphones while you record, if you want it
• Every character colour-coded, so you always know who is speaking
• A pacing bar that turns amber the moment you run past the original
• Overlapping dialogue mixed on separate lanes, so two people talking over each other actually sound like it
• Watch the original, play your dub back, or export the whole scene as a video

BOOTH CAM

Switch on the front camera and Dubloon films you while you perform. Export the finished scene with your face in the corner, stacked above it for a story, or side by side. Or send out a single line with the reaction next to it. The camera stays off until you turn it on, and booth footage stays on your phone until you choose to export.

SCORED, IF YOU WANT IT

Every take is marked on timing, pacing and delivery, with a score for the scene, your best line, and the one worth another go. Turn it off and nobody is counting.

FOUR SCENES TO START WITH

Camp Rules (Sprite Fright, CC BY 4.0), Awesome in Space (Tears of Steel, CC BY 3.0) and A Kindred Spirit (Sintel, CC BY 3.0) are cut from Blender's open movies. Stuck Up is cut from The Outsider, a 1951 classroom film that is in the public domain in the United States. Each scene names the film, the year and the terms right there on its own screen.

After that, the shelf is yours to fill. Beyond those four, Dubloon does not include or host any films. Community dub packs are made and shared by other players. You download the ones you want and import the folder or .zip from Files, AirDrop or any share sheet. Do make sure you have the right to use whatever you dub.

REVERSE SINGING

The original game. Record a song and Dubloon flips it. Sing the backwards version you hear, and the app flips your attempt back. Get it right and you come out singing the real song. It scores how close you got.

• Two interfaces: big simple buttons, or the full waveform with loop, speed and pitch
• Save your best takes and come back to them

SOUND IMITATION

Hear a sound, then make it yourself. A barking dog, a rooster, a car horn, a laser. Dubloon listens to your attempt, judges its rhythm, pitch and tone against the real thing, and stamps a verdict on it. Beat your best, then turn the attempt into a video to share.

• 24 sounds: animals, horns and alarms, cartoon effects and human noises
• Booth Cam films your face mid-impression, if you want it

HOME VIDEO DUB

Your videos, your voice. Pick a clip from Photos and narrate it, sing over it or give it new sound effects. Keep the original sound quietly underneath or mute it, then share the result.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Everything happens on this device. Your recordings, your takes, your booth footage and your exported dubs never leave it. No account, no sign-up, no ads, nothing to upload. The app collects anonymous usage statistics to guide what gets built next, never the contents of a recording.

WHAT IT COSTS

Every game is open, with Booth Cam and exports included. Your first seven takes are free, counted across all four games. Dubloon Pro removes the limit, as a one-time purchase or a subscription.

Built in Switzerland. Made by hand in Zürich.

## Dubloon Reviews in United States

### *---- "Pretty Bad"
When I try to do another thing all it does is keep asking me for money. So I can’t really do anything- (sorry creator btw)
-- Doublebigmaccheeseburger, 2026-10-24

### ***** "Love itt 🤩"
I really like it, but I wish it was for free
-- Charlie Davis, 2026-10-22

### *---- "Such a pay wall"
It asked me to get pro every three seconds and the main part of it saying the movie scenes only lets you do like half of one scene and then just completely says that you can’t use it anymore so if you wanted to get it for the part that it’s saying that you can dub the movies a.k.a. the name then you’re not getting what you wanted bye
-- Seasway, 2026-10-17

### *---- "T"
U can’t even use anything except a camping trip a some 1950s scene worst six bucks spent in my life
-- Lorax moger, 2026-09-27

### *---- "Terrible"
$4 and it only had 2 movies to voice over.
-- Jaelene S, 2026-09-26
