I am getting in rediculous log in loops. I Payed for this on my ipad! i dont need to login for nothing. I need to plug my ipad into my pc and have a secondary display as i used to a couple of months ago. I know you make more money from subscriptions but if this is the case make the app free for all and then screw your clients into paying you. It never openned up again since end of December 2022. I did not download an update, it should have been downloaded automatically, I assume, knowing my settings. Nevertheless, without warning or prior notice, it seems like the app is suddenly not supported or for some reason incompatible with my iPad. Trying to reach out to the support for two weeks brought me nothing but almost an hour of time wasted writing emails to all company mails I could find of Duet developers and also hours of research on Apple forums, Googling, asking on Reddit and Quora and I could not find the solution to my problem. Waitin for an answer from Duet seems hopeless. It’s nearly €16 loss for me from a none 1st world country and that’s infuriating! The so-called 'lag-free' experience is anything but. YouTube videos can be viewed in windowed mode but will stutter in full screen, at least on my iPad 3. When plugged to your laptop, the iPad will drain its battery faster. The app has crashed a couple of times during the first day alone, and the Windows software bricked one of my desktop PCs (Windows 10 Home stuck in endless loading loop). All that being said, buying the app (especially at 50% off, $10 or €11.99 in Europe, VAT included) is still a no brainer. For the price of one lunch you get a second hi-res display that you can use for writing/translating/editing or web design. You will probably need to spend at lease that much more on a good stand to prop that iPad. I was looking for such solution from a long time. It is an excellent idea to use your iPad as second screen for your notebook - Mac or Windows based. Despite of the app that are using AirPlay this app is using the cable of your iPad/iPhone and it is lag-free! This makes it really useful. The developers offer excellent support. I was one of the early adopters of the app. The first versions were not perfect, but the developers really astonished me - they respond really fast and come back with real solutions to the issues. Now the app is mature and works well adding features with the new versions.
