$72 per year!? Come on!
I pad $10 for this app and now they want $200/year to use it. Do not buy under any circumstance, this is a scam! Fake reviews. Total garbage
I got charged for my subscription even after I cancelled it, I got charged the anual fee and it shows on my subscriptions with Apple that I cancelled it back in 2023. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOIR ACCOUNTS!
Too expensive will have to cancel after free trial but so awes9me for this project
I had issues using the app from my email account and the customer service folks helped me out very quickly.
I use it daily and love it
Connects no more than 50% of the time. No phone number to talk to anyone.
I haven't used the app in a while and when I launched it recently, I was greeted with a checkbox forcing me to agree to terms and conditions including an arbitration agreement. Then they tried to get me to sign up to their account system (not sure why I'd want that???) and they tried to get me to subscribe to a subscription plan. This app has really gone downhill for what should be a fairly simple $10 app.
With the end of 17 in laptops, I’ve been needing a second display to add screen real estate for field work. This app does the job. Some reviewers are having lag issues, but I do not. I’ve even run videos (YouTube etc.) through it and have had no issues. I’m using a Macbook Pro with system 10.9 and an iPad Air 1, with the iPad my pallet displays for Photoshop. Cool to know: 1. The app launches the OS helper automatically. 2. As long as the app is running and the line connected, you can go to other apps without your laptop returning to single monitor mode. You can use other apps, and come back to your second monitor. The exception is that if your computer or the iPad go to sleep, the main computer goes back to single monitor mode. But, it jumps back to two display mode when you reactivate the app. So far, I have been very pleased with this app and recommend it highly. The only real improvement I’d like to see is for the software of doing a bit better job of sizing/aspect ratio for the desk top image (it’s cropped slightly on the iPad, but not on my big second monitor used in the office). Latest update has made it even better! Minor issues resolved. Update 4 July 2024 — I have been using Duet for several years now as my on-the-road second display and continue to be pleased with it, now using it with Sonoma, M3 Mac and the current Photoshop with a 12 inch iPad Pro as a second screen. As with any software there have been some minor issues now and again, but I’ve always found their customer support to be response, effective, friendly and fast.
