Mac OS Catalinas sidecar messed you uuuup
Uninstalling and reinstalling the duet software on pc did nothing. iTunes detects iPad instantly so there is no problem with my connectivity. App is always stuck at launching, Then nothing happens. I googled the issue and this issue is all over the internet. Don’t waste your money wait till it’s fixed or look for another app.
This app is extremely buggy with OS Mojave 10.14. The menu icon goes to never-never land when clicked and you can’t uninstall! When it connects it flickers like hell and has a seriously long delay.
I was very disappointed with this app. first of all it has some serious issues with windows 10 and i could not manage to make it work, it never connects. I did manage to connect on my windows 7 laptop (btw it's a gaming laptop). They say in the app description that it has zero lag, well it lagged like hell using it with my gaming laptop, which is a very powerful piece of hardware. Overall I was hoping to use my newly purchased iPad Pro 2 as a display monitor for my work, sadly i have to purchase a Wacom intuos pro to get the job done.
It requires no set up, very easy to use and works as advertised. Extremely smooth, I didn't experience any lag although I have a 2010 MacBook Pro, not the fastest. Worth every penny. Thanks a lot for the great software.
I mistakenly subscribed to the yearly cost before getting to test the functionality. Unfortunately, I get it to connect to my iPad Pro 13” M4 once out of every 10-15 attempts. I usually have to reset both devices to get it to work, which defeats the purpose for me since I was hoping to use it as a monitor for a headless Mac Mini setup (I am using the Mac Mini M4). I wish I could say the wired connection is more consistent, but it is not. I’m still holding on to hope that it will work, because it could be a game changer for me and, I imagine, a lot of other users in the Apple ecosystem.
This app is great the only problem I have is wireless is a bit iffy on some devices but wired is great If you want to try this app try it use a wire first I reccomended not using a small phone because it will be pointless
USB-C connection to Win11 laptop gets 10-15fps, basically unusable.
Has terrible mouse lag. Makes it unusable.
