I particularly appreciate the advice of which cable to use and linkage to enable me to purchase it, which saved me a great deal of likely frustration. His advice in response to the initial problems in terms of s/w installation was timely, detailed, and effective. In my full-time work of editing Word documents, I can now have a reference document (that I often need to access) open on the second display, while editing documents on the main screen; so I can speedily view and copy and paste from the reference document to the main document(s). If duet want to win against these free apps they have to step up there game. After trying many computers, cables and connection types, I can confirm that duet display is not perfect. It does have some latency and quality problems. My biggest complaint with Duet is that it advertises functionality such as using your apple pencil and gestures while connect. When you pay for the app, you expect to receive this functionality. However, when launching the app And connecting to your computer, you will be told you need to pay a monthly subscription to access these features. This is unfortunate and comes off as greedy, especially as this app requires an upfront payment.
