works well with my 2012 imac and 2016 ipad; also works with windows to ipad.
Better documentation would be helpful
A few years ago, I was able to use my iPad as a teleprompter. I tried to do it again today, but I couldn’t find instructions anywhere. I got a helpful email response from tech support within 2 hours, and it worked well, but I’m baffled why this isn’t better documented. Why build features and not explain them?
Bait and switch.
Mandatory email sign up. No app until you have an account. Then you find out it’s subscription based? For a display?? Shady business practices. It’s not the subscription itself, it’s the obfuscation.
It’s so complex and the app is different from what I saw in YouTube
It’s bad
Not great for pc
Was able to make it work once. Maybe if I uninstalled, reinstalled, etc. I just don’t want to have to do that every time. Nice app, will look for something similar.
Thousands of users have been robbed
This app existed as a single purchase for over 10 years until the owners revoked access from all users and now demand a subscription fee. Anyone who previously paid for the app can no longer use it. There have been rumors that you can regain access with proof of purchase from over 10 years ago, but you only regain the ability to use a wired connection for the screen, the network connection has been permanently removed from all previous customers. Do NOT give these people any money unless you too wish to be defrauded and robbed in the future.

Does What Duet Says It Will Do
Having the extra screen space of the original iPad Pro greatly improves my productivity. What’s more continuing to have a valuable use for this iPad reduces its initial carbon footprint which is good for all of us.
No free plan.
As of writing this post, Duet has gotten rid of their wired, non commercial, free plan. As a basic user, this app/program has no options available for any functionality without passing a paywall. Don’t buy into it, look for other options. Duet, do better.
