Dulux Visualizer

1: The app does not recognise doors, skirting, ceilings, etc. which mean it colours everything. Not super helpful when trying to visualise what a room or feature wall will look like. 2: Paint shades do not reflect real life at all. Ive used a few testers and they are all significantly darker than the app. If these two issues were fixed it would make a massive difference!

This works relatively well on walls but I’d now like to play with the woodwork - skirting and door frames and there’s no way of picking those out specifically. Masking is also pretty hit or miss - mostly miss. Having said that this app is way ahead of the other painting apps.

Just needs a few tweaks, for instance, an undo button would be really useful in case you colour in the wrong part. Also, having the ability to zoom in on a photo, would allow for greater precision in selecting walls to fill in. Gives a good idea of what a colour might look like nonetheless.

The app works well but the paint in the app does not natch the paint in the cans! I chose Teal Vogage which seemed to match well with my blueish/ greenish carpet . I put some on the walls and it was nothing like I was expecting . I took a picture of this paint on the wall . Can not rely on this app at all Not recommhn

I’ve given it a one star as you can see what your wall looks like in that particular colour. The problem is, that it will change everything that’s white, so the wall will change to the colour you choose but so will your white ceiling, your white cushions, your white cat, your white window frame. There is no masking tape on the screen so you literally can’t narrow it down, and it’s constantly flickering. On the plus side, I now know I like the look of the colour I want for my wall, and I also know how my cat will look in that colour too.

There have been real jumps in ai, eventually these advancements may hit this app. Right now it’s a erracit mess that doesn’t work out edges, ceilings and most of the time walls

The colour picker really doesn’t work. It’s too affected by light and camera settings. But I was enjoying picking colour palettes for my newest projects… until today when I discovered last weeks update had DELETED all of them!!! Argh!! Back to the drawing board from scratch now.

I use this app a lot, it’s not perfect but gives me enough of an idea, but the latest update has lost all my saved ideas, very frustrating

I struggled to imagine what a colour would look like in my new en-suite to go with the tiling, the visualiser was perfect for comparing different colours until I finally chose one. The finished painted sections were just like the visualiser had shown.

Every colour I select looks the same everything seems to be grey I even selected a white and a yellow, both looked dark grey on walls. Not sure what’s going on here. I’ve had the app in the past and used to be pretty good
