Did we mention extremely frustrating, arbitrary puzzles! Plus lotso quirky exploration, and exactly two opportunities for (unrealistic) violence! Retro gaming at its most retro!

Dungeon is our emulation of a seminal milestone in computer gaming: the classic interactive text adventure "Zork" of 1977. Running on the TriadCity platform, it's our homage to one of the most influential computer games of all time. Most importantly, it's fun!

It's completely FREE to play, and has more women players than men. Best of all, it's friendly! For twenty years SmartMonsters has been free of the flame wars, misogyny, and mean-spiritedness prominent in some other environments. Even our bulletin boards are safe! Visit us today - we can't wait to meet you!

Dungeon is one World in the wider SmartMonsters Universe. From Dungeon your characters can enter the TriadCity or Midgaard Worlds, where the "laws of physics" are very different. With more to come!
