The Duracell app enables owners of Duracell batteries and EV Charger to monitor their homes’ energy on the go. With this app you can:
View the status of your Duracell connected home, battery, and EV Charger
View your household consumption and the power flowing through you Duracell connected devices, giving you a clear understanding of solar generation, battery usage and grid energy usage.
Access your historical energy usage data in daily, weekly, and monthly time periods, so you can understand your household consumption behaviour over time and the benefits to the environment.

### *---- "Terrible UI, scheduling and live readings"
Whole UI looks like it was made in about 5 minutes. Can see this app has been getting updates for the last year so I can’t actually believe the state it’s in. Tested out the discharge setting, quickly turned it back off but it didn’t listen to that and instead discharged my entire battery. Now it’s been half an hour since my cheap energy period and it’s still charging it, now on the expensive price. Live readings are completely off as well, sometimes reads that my house is using 0. Really hope some investment goes into this soon because it’s ruining my experience with what was a very expensive purchase

This app is just not fit for purpose. It literally just plucks figures out of the air and doesn’t make sense. In the middle of winter it says I’m generating solar power at 1 in the morning. Please has a look at it and update because it’s no where near the standard Duracell set for themselves

App will not refresh, you have to log out and back in if you want a refresh. 
Scheduling is just as bad. Set a schedule save it and then log out and in to check if it’s saved it’s 50/50 at best if it has saved it.  
For a Brand name like Duracell, it’s very poor. 
Hoping for a sizable update soon so functionality is improved.

Seems to generate crazy numbers or values that are not in synch with each other. Spoils the appreciation of the actual hardware product and brings performance into doubt

1 App is certainly not a live monitor. You constantly have to press the refresh or kill it and start again.
2. Set Power cut” mode then switched it off. Mode is still on.
3. Setting a schedule had absolutely no effect
4. EV section not working with me unable to charge my car from the charger.

### *---- "Not actually a “Live Usage Monitor”"
This app only updates every 6 minutes and the data is not very consistent with the actual usage. Sometimes the app shows 0W house load when electricity is being used and sometimes it shows large amounts of energy being used when nothing is switched on!
UPDATE - After being installed for 1 week, the app shows the battery sitting at 100%, still being fed by the solar panels and the house load is being taken from the grid. This app is not fit for purpose.

Awful app. Set up has taken 2 weeks since our system was installed. App doesn’t update in a timely manner and so is nearly useless, and it gives me literally zero control over my system. If I want to change anything it has to go through Duracell. Laughable. Wish I’d seen the rating for this app before going ahead with the Duracell options for my system as doesn't meet my requirements at all.

### **--- "Inconsistent monitoring"
Since we had our solar panels and battery installed, the Duracell Energy app has proved to be very inconsistent in showing accurate readings in live time.  Sometimes there are gaps of missing information for hours which isn’t at all helpful.

Please could the app be made more reliable?

App hasn’t synced to the equipment data for at least a week now, rendering it completely useless. Main person responsible has gone off on holiday, apparently, so who knows when they will fix it. 
Would give it no stars if I could.
