It is the worlds first protection service that notifies Police. In an emergency, Duress notifies the Police, streams live video and tracks your location all in seconds, without the need to call 000. In an emergency, such as an assault, an attack or home invasion, there is not enough time to call 000. Duress lets you notify the Police and stream video in seconds, meaning you don't need to call 000 and explain who you are, where you are, or what is happening. Duress does all of this for you. Duress has a 24/7 Operations Centre in Australia, and as soon as you declare an emergency we notify the Police for you. You tap a button, we notify Police. As soon as you declare an emergency, the Operations Centre can see who you are, what is happening, and where you are. We then connect directly to Police in seconds, notifying them of where you are and what is happening. The Operations centre can also send the live video and location data through to the Police if needed. More information - www.duress.com. Tried to create an account through the app, it wouldn't accept any details. Went to the duress site, eventually managed to create an account (ran into issues there as well), went to sign in to the app again, refused details (saying invalid). Couldn't confirm whether it was free for personal use or not and at minimum cost of $23.99 per month -- no thanks. Don't waste your time, use the Emergency SOS function of your phone if need be. -- Deano-on-holidays, 2019-06-13 ### ***** "Feels great having backup walking home from work" I typically get off work around 9PM and as of last week my trek home was pretty damn scary. I just chuck on the monitoring when I’m feeling...a little unsafe and it takes the edge off the police are only a tap away. Cheers guys for helping me feel safer walking home :) -- Woxxie, 2018-01-12 ### ***** "Feeling a lot safer" I downloaded this app a while ago and I’ve used it to monitor when I’m walking home after work and it gives me such a peace of mind it’s awesome!! Hopefully I’ll never have to alert the police but I definitely feel safer with duress! Thanks guys! -- Stacey Louis, 2018-01-12 ### ***** "Incredible app, can see why it’s recommended" This is the only app I have found that connects to the Police and tells them who you are, where you are and live video without having to call 000 - a full blown security service in your pocket. Forget the other apps who send a message to your contacts, this connects to Police. Well done! -- melbn-straya, 2017-12-14 ### ****- "Fingerprint instead of PIN" The app asks for a pin when you open it. It should also allow you to use your fingerprint so it’s quicker to run. -- MashySydney, 2017-10-12 ### **--- "It’s ok" Calling the police will give the same end product And it doesn’t cost $9.99 a month So yeah it’s ok but eh -- J C cool cool, 2017-09-24 ### ***** "Feeling safer" With this app it's nice to know that police are only a swipe away -- Adzy!!, 2017-05-08 ### ***** "Good idea & looks user friendly." I'll be installing this on all my employees work phones. Cheers. -- Billy4232, 2017-04-07 [View all Duress reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Duress Available In - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/duress-rdEc/australia) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/duress-rdEc/united-states) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/duress-rdEc/united-kingdom) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/duress-rdEc/ireland) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/duress-rdEc/new-zealand) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/duress-rdEc/turkey) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
