I got the app and put in my code for my insurance and got a email saying I needed set up my dynamicdrive account before I lose my discount. So I’m not sure if it’s working or not but it tracked me as. A passenger and said it was a “perfect” ride so hopefully no problems occur in the future !
It was never fully expressed to me just how this application works. It requires that you give access to precision location services fitness tracking app you’re not allowed to ever use low battery mode even the use of hands-free phone operation like using my AirPods to skip songs triggered phone use you should not trust this application to be able to rate your driving.
Considers hands free Siri use as an "event" and counts as "phone use"... lame
I honestly don’t have many problems with this app EXCEPT for the fact that I have an 8.4 score because of the time of day I’m traveling.. what do yall expect me to do? drive to work whenever I feel like I want to ? I can’t change my schedule and honestly I don’t think that should matter when rating someone’s driving because if their not getting in accidents during rush hour everyday then there obviously not a bad driver ? Get it together people.

The app is completely designed to make sure that you pay more for your insurance. It doesn’t matter how you drive. They will bing you for every little thing. There are fake brake stabs that they charge against you. You’re going with the speed of traffic and that’s a violation for them. They are clueless about any city or any type of traffic. And no matter what time of day you drive it’s the wrong time and lowers your score it looks like garbage also. Has zero way to feedback because they don’t care. Border on fraudulent and some Allstate (their owner) is being sued for illegally using this exact type of data chances are it Is actually fraudulent.
Since I install this app I have to keep my cellphone connected to a power source all the time if not in less that half day I have no battery, usually my battery used to last the whole day, but now forget it and who will pay for a new phone? Because keep my phone connected all the time to a power source will ruined my battery, really bad app
I don’t mind the app so far, it mainly just validates my good driver ego so yea it’s a cool app but I do wish that it didn’t make me turn off low battery mode, other than that, no complaints yet.
This app is recording a “phone incident” when I literally get a notification and my phone lights up. It seems like they’re doing this to make your score lower so they can charge you more. I’m looking for a new car insurance company ASAP.
First, I'm a CDL driver so hands free is my way of life less I risk my job and my license. I'm on my second day of usi g this app and I am 100% dumbfounded that if I use Siri via voice command, it's considered use. What's worse, if I get a notification that turns the screen in? Yeah you got it...use. This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Even when I was with Allstate using their Drivewise app, it didn't do that. I'm kinda ticked off.
