## Dynamos Cricket Description
The Dynamos Cricket app, created by the England and Wales Cricket Board, is the perfect cricket application for all children aged 8+ to have fun at home.

App features enable kids to:
- Create a personal profile
- Personalise their experience by choosing theming to match their favourite team
- Scan Dynamos Topps cards to create their own digital binder
- Complete Skills Challenges and Quizzes to earn XP
- Play an exciting arcade-style cricket minigame – time your taps to hit incoming balls, score runs, and avoid missing to keep your lives and reach a high score!
- Earn exclusive in-app rewards as they build their cricket skills and knowledge

The Dynamos Cricket app is free, and there are no in-app purchases. The app is private and not an open network, so nobody can see or communicate with your child. No personal data is requested or stored within the app.

Dynamos Cricket is the ECB’s new programme to inspire all 8-11-year-old children to play cricket, learn new skills, make friends, and fall in love with the game. It is designed both for kids graduating from the All Stars Cricket programme (for 5-8-year-olds) and those who are new to the sport and want to get involved.

We are doing our utmost to find a safe way for Dynamos Cricket courses to run as soon as possible. For more information, visit Dynamoscricket.co.uk.

## Dynamos Cricket Reviews in United Kingdom

### ***-- "Doesn't work"
Downloaded purely to scan the cards. It didn't.
But at least the ECB are trying to find ways to bring cricket to more kids.

Edit to Dev response: it's the latest version as just downloaded and of course I have given camera access. The app can't bring the codes into focus / doesn't recognise them.
-- NCNCNC, 2025-05-16

### ***** "Nice upgrade to get into cricket"
DC having a blast at the programmes and this has given us more Cricket to do at home - learning the rules and improving skills. More player content from the big stars?
-- Wenowlikecricket, 2025-05-16

### ***** "Promising"
A nice way for parents and kids to share interest in cricket. The rewards and skills challenges have been fun so far!
-- Hmjaao12, 2025-05-16

### *---- "Doesn’t scan the cards?"
The only point of this app is to scan the player cards that come with the Dynamos kit. Which is fine - if it works. Just doesn’t scan the cards like it’s supposed to? Is there a planned fix for this?
-- kenyak, 2025-04-29

### **--- "My review"
The EBC said that there would be games well there is NOT
-- concentrate £;/+-%67'mmbfdeyh, 2023-06-10

### *---- "Lack of teams and card scanning doesn’t work"
I’d love to give this a higher rating but the ‘scan your Topps cards’ feature doesn’t work, and my child has no idea who The Hundred teams are. When asked for his favourite team he wanted to pick Derbyshire, but there are no county teams to select from.

This comes across as a cheap attempt by the ECB to try and sell The Hundred to kids rather than a genuine attempt to make an interactive cricket development app for children interested in cricket. Please, drop The Hundred branding and concentrate on cricket in all its forms as an all-inclusive and diverse sport.
-- D_Bailey, 2021-06-26

### **--- "Scanning cards feature has never worked"
Overall it is good however the feature to scan cards in to the app does not work .... code HA6DMS1R not working
-- Chumboysmith, 2021-05-28

### ***** "Great for 8+"
Wonderful little app that has enabled me to practice with my 8 year old son. Ignore the negative, grumpy reviews about the teams and focus on the content which is excellent!!
-- ChrisParkesUK, 2020-05-21

### *---- "No county teams.... ludicrous"
Asking me to select your favourite team from a competition which doesn’t exist. Well done ECB so out of touch
-- abdv2, 2020-05-16

### ***** "This is a great app"
You can get so many skills and quiz challenges on here. It is really fun! Also, there are no ads which makes it even better. It’s really good to keep up the cricket skills in lockdown.
