The e-Golf app is made for people who care about their car — and want a simpler, faster and clearer way to keep an eye on it from iPhone. This is not a large, anonymous car platform. It is a small independent project made for e-Golf owners, focused on the things many of us actually check in everyday use: battery, range, charging, climate control, lock status, parking and vehicle status. With the app you can, among other things: • See battery level and estimated range • Follow charging status • View charging history and battery measurements over time • Start and stop climate control where supported by the car • See whether the car is locked • View odometer and updated vehicle status • Find the car’s last registered parking position • Open the position in Maps • Find nearby chargers • Use a Home Screen widget • Customize the app with language, theme, car color, car image and layout Important before you buy The app requires your car to have an active and working connection with Volkswagen. You need a Volkswagen ID, the car must be added to your account, and the car must have an active VW We Connect / Car-Net subscription with access to vehicle data and remote functions. If your Volkswagen subscription has expired, been deactivated, or does not support the required services for your car, the app will not be able to retrieve data or send commands to the car. The app does not give the car a new data connection. It only uses the connection and services Volkswagen already provides for your car. If your car still works in Volkswagen’s own services, and you have an active subscription where required, this app is for you if you want a more direct and tidy way to see the most important information. Made for e-Golf enthusiasts Many e-Golf drivers really like their car. It is simple, practical, solid and still a very useful electric car. This app is built with the same idea: no more complicated than necessary, but useful in everyday life. The goal is to give you a quick overview without too much noise. Open the app, check the battery, see if the car is charging, start climate control before you leave, or find the car on the map. A small independent project The e-Golf app is made as a private initiative — by users, for users. The app costs about the same as a cup of coffee.
