Experienced pilot here. Nothing beats working the whiz wheel but this has everything a pilot uses. I first got this a few years ago just to check my work and still use it now that I’ve gotten my Instrument rating. This has improved leaps and bounds from once I first downloaded it. Only one suggestion, a beginner pilot might like to see how some calculations were made. Still...great app!

This is makes cold weather instrument approach calculations as simple as possible. No more looking up the table and doing the mental math for airport elevation etc. Simply input the the altitudes directly from the approach plate and input the airport elevation and presto, new minimums!

There are a lot of conversions and helpful calculations within this app but it lacks accurate Mach to TAS calculation. Mach is highly dependent on altitude and temperature. Therefore, this part of the app needs a section to input altitude and OAT (and/or ISA deviation) before accurate converting Mach to any other speed.  It would also be nice to include CAS in that conversion section.  Thanks!
