### *---- "Ridiculous App Even More Ridiculous Customer Service"
I’m not even sure this app should even receive any stars. My BP visa card won’t link with the app because it’s supposedly linked to another account. Contact customer service and complete whatever nonsense instructions they give to fix the situation and nothing works. They “escalate” the situation, still nothing solved. Same thing is happening with my mother’s account and she too is given the runaround. She called FNBO who told her that no one earns points on fuel at a BP station. I’m sorry, who trained that alleged customer service agent. The Earnify site itself states that you earn points on fuel and double points on convenience store purchases. Apps have bugs, i know this, but is it too much to ask that bugs be fixed when customers present them? My mother and i can’t be the only ones experiencing these issues.

I have used this consistently and went to get 20c reward with my collected 600 points. Only once I then tried to use the app for gas it wasn’t working at that station. So logically I assumed the reward would stay present until my next usage but it didn’t and I am missing 600 points. I have no transactions showing usage of the reward so it’s clear that the app dropped them. Please restore them to my account.

I emailed customer support about my age verification not working TWO MONTHS AGO! They got back to me once asking a bunch of questions. I answered them but nothing has changed. I tried to email again about one month ago and they never got back to me. I have tried everything and they don’t seem to care. Definitely liked the old ampm app waaayyyy more.

When BP rewards app existed, it somewhat motivated me to go to BP rather than the other guys even though I had other options close to home but with this new app, it’s complicated. I feel like you have to go through hoops and loops to redeem any points towards gas. They need to take a page out of the Wawa app for example easy straight to the point and even has dedicated denominations to choose from as to how much you want to fuel up; fast, quick and easy. They really need to go back to the drawing board with this app.

Every time I pull up at the station, I have to turn my Wi-Fi off in order for the app to work. There should be an automatic connection or a better Wi-Fi at the station so when I open up the app, I just hit the pump number and I continue to fuel.

### *---- "Didn’t Work — and Customer “Support” Was Useless"
I received an invitation to join the Earnify program in October of 2024. I typically shop at Mobil due to a similar loyalty program, and I was excited to add BP to my network of gas stations I can visit for discounted fuel.

About a month and a half later, I needed gas — and I found myself near a BP Station! Time to try it out.

I followed the instructions on the app, and received a message that my account could not be accessed at that time. I tried a few more times. Drivers behind me began to honk ask me if I was going to get gas or not, and if I could move. It was a stressful situation. I went to customer support for the app, and my only option was to open a ticket — no live support. So I opened a ticket.

In the end, I drove all the way home and used the Mobil station close to my house.

TWO AND A HALF WEEKS LATER, I received an email from BP Customer Service saying that my account was on hold. Then they told me the only way to release the hold is to buy something in the store with the card on my Earnify account, and then TWO DAYS LATER the hold would be lifted.

This is absolute lunacy. To make a product so deeply flawed, then take ages to respond, and then make the customer jump through hoops?

Forget it! I'll stick with Mobil.

BP and Earnify can kick rocks.

### *---- "Overcharges for BP Visa"
Don’t use this app to pay for gas at the pump, if you have a BP Visa! Just learned Ive been overcharged who knows how many times. Sign said $3.04 for BP Visa, pump charged me $3.14- always just assumed the extra 10 cents was because I used credit instead of cash. But this time I went in to ask because the sign very explicitly says “BPMeVisa” at that price- obviously you can’t pay cash if using their Visa. Clerk says it’s because I used this app instead of paying with the card itself.

Bring back the old app! I could pay my BP credit card bill through it. And from other reviews, the app to pay doesn’t work that well. And what happens if you’re in the middle of Mississippi where there’s no signal?

I like the discounts; but, the app logs out during some updates, then is very slow to log in. It occasionally fails at the pump. Putting in your login at the pump give you lower rewards.

This app is the worst ever. Or should I say customer support is the worst ever. Went for gas on 4 different occasions and was charged the wrong price. When I called customer service with the posted price and price I was charged he told me it was unacceptable. He wanted the gas station to verify the prices. Refused to give me $6.00 in credits. Called FNBO later and they addressed the issue. Every so often you find an app admin who stinks.
Why would I use the app and pay regular price when I can use the credit card and get $.15 per gallon discount?  I thought I was getting the same $.15 discount using the app. Shame on me for not checking that. And the worst is when the phone contact told me the photo of the CASH PRICE that I sent him was incorrect. He told me the photo had to be ‘ validated’ with a time stamp. All over $.10 a gallon, a grand total of $6.00 approximately. Insulting.
