## EasyCode 2.0 Description
EasyCode 2.0 is a mobile app for Self-Storage facilities to provide mobile gate access and security monitoring features for renters.

The new and improved EasyCode takes away the hassle of remembering passwords by enabling a simple touch interface to open gates and doors at the storage facility. Plus, users can view their access history, get notifications when their unit alarm is triggered, and view access activity at their unit. Enjoy the convenience with EasyCode 2.0.


Note:  To be able to enroll in EasyCode, your device must be able to accept incoming text messages from "Shortcode" numbers.  Some providers, most notably prepaid services, do not allow messages from these numbers.  Please check with your provider if you have any questions on your device's capabilities.

This app worked fine for years and then something happened that it stopped working. I logged out, logged back in, deleted the app, downloaded it again, I even got a new storage unit and tried to enroll all over again and it didn’t work. THIS APP DOES NOT WORK.

Besides not being able to connect an account to a gate code the selections under account info are mismatched. For example, if you click Manage Email, you will get a pop up window for Terms & Conditions. Or, if you click Manage Phone Number you will get the Privacy Notice.

This app has one function, and if it can’t accomplish that function, it is worthless. One would think that the developers would have been able to allow one to reset their password successfully as a matter of course, but I’ve been unable to accomplish this simple task even once. It appears to allow me to change it, but it fails immediately when I try to use it. Since there is no enduser tech support available (the storage sites are the customers, not the people who rent storage)there is no recourse other than to manually use the keypad at the entrance and exit. Again, completely worthless.

The app needs IT professionals to create it and really test it upon themselves first before selling it to companies who see it and buy it or pay for it and only to find out that it does not work. Can’t enter any doors because the images of doors don’t even show up. Then when all fails it says log in failure. Then more interesting is they make sure there is no topic if their is not working what to do. This means they never test this before they put it out there.

Why offer this app to your clients when it causes more frustration than it’s worth.  Don’t know how much reliable storage is paying for this app but they need to save that money and lower their rate instead.

I’ve had this unit for about 2 1/2 years. About six or eight months ago the app stopped working. I have tried everything since, logging in, logging out, deleting the app from my phone, reinstalling it, changing my password. Nothing will work. Before it was just that the gates would not open with my app. Now it won’t even let me login even after changing my password, this app is absolute trash. And extremely inconvenient for the amount of money we pay at the storage unit.

I can’t even finish enrolling on the app because it’s stuck on the “turn on notifications” which yes I have everything on for the app. But the buttons that say “notify me” and “no thank you” are absolutely useless because when you click one nothing happens. Worst app ever. When a business offers an application as a perk it should benefit the client in some shape or form. I was logged out for whatever reason. The password I have saved doesn't grant me access. I changed my password no entry, reset my phone - no entry, I deleted and redownloaded the app no entry. Don't offer something if it doesn't work. This app is 10000000% useless.

The forgot password function will send a text with a link that, for iPhone, loops you back to the app install page.  There is no recover or create new password option.  If you select the support page it takes you to a blank page.

I input all of my correct info and it keeps telling me one of the fields has incorrect data but it doesn’t tell me which one. Then it goes straight to a login page and I have to close the app, delete it, reinstall it and try again. Over and over never being able to enroll and use the app.
