Subscription Information: Eato® offers a 7-day trial subscription service for $79.99/year, granting unlimited access to VIP features during the subscription period. Your payment will be charged to your iTunes account upon confirmation of purchase after the 7-day trial. During the trial period, you can manage your subscription and cancel by going to your 'Account Settings'. After being charged, you may turn off auto-renewal by visiting the same section. Your subscription will automatically be renewed unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal cost will be charged to your account 24 hours before the end of the current period. When canceling a subscription, your subscription will stay active until the end of the period. Auto-renewal will be disabled, but they will not refund the current subscription. If offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription.

This app employs deceptive tactics, making you believe you are signing up for a free trial, only to discover that your Apple Pay has been charged. The app presents a series of questions that make it seem like you are creating your own diet plan. However, these questions are a guise or trickery to switch your subscription from the free trial to their 3-month VIP Plan.

I was initially planning to pay, but not immediately. I wanted to compare this app to MyFitnessPal first.

In the payment options, there are three choices: monthly, yearly, and a 3-month VIP Plan. The 3-month VIP Plan is highlighted in red and labeled as "Popular," making it the default choice. When I clicked it, my account was automatically charged for the 3-month VIP Plan, even though I intended to start with the 7-day free trial. The free trial is embedded elsewhere, and that the creator of this App made sure that people will choose the option where automatic payment is made, rather than their advertised 7-day free trial.

Its an improved MyFitnessPal, with AI. 

But if you don’t live in the West or eat simple food without sauces, it won’t get your food right. 

Especially if you live in South East Asia where there are sauces galore. 

Ill use it anyway, just to learn more about eating. But it’s not too accurate for me. 

Also, weird that I can’t edit the entry. I corrected the AI entry from Beef to Pork, but the app still called it Beef Stew.
