Ebook Reader FAQ

Yes, Ebook Reader is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Ebook Reader legit?
🤔 The Ebook Reader app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Fails to hold a page
It keeps returning to page one of a chapter I read, restarts paginating which takes forever, and then fails to find bookmarked page so I have to manually search for it. This happens every time when I turn my phone or receive a call or otherwise interrupt reading. Very disappointing and inconvenient especially when compared with the default iOS application Books.

The creators of this con app steal the money. You buy books and they never appear in this app. Which for sure was planned like that. Fuckers
Thanks
A great application . Thx
Something goes wrong
The table of contents is not loading, amount of pages read and left are constantly changing. Sometimes the app kicks you back to previous chapter.
Simple, easy to use reader
…and it looks nice, too. Have had it for a year or so and I like it. The only thing I wish it did was to scroll down for next pages, rather than sideways. Not a big deal to me, and there may be a way to do this that I haven’t figured out, yet. You will like it.
Great app
I still love this app! After all these years.
No Table of Contents
Has some nice features, but when I open the table of contents it’s blank. This makes it difficult to navigate many books as I use this for school. Hopefully this gets fixed.
Search doesn’t work
I try to do a search for a word or phrase and that option does not work. Very frustrating when I am trying to look up information for medical diagnosis.
Would prefer to label my bookmarks as well.
Where do I begin?
I had thought that I'd found a decent Amazon alternative for purchase of e-books. The Android version of this app isn't perfect but it's pretty workable. However, this ios app is atrocious. My most recent purchase does not properly render: the font is stuck on microscopic, it advances chapters rather than pages when the margin is tapped. I thought there was some setting I'd messed up, but these errors persist even with re-downloading both the app and the book. When I try to get support, I'm forced to do a lengthy captcha which then throws out what I typed into the form. I had hoped to support a smaller online book seller but I guess I will go back to B&N for my purchases.
