Best of its kind…

With its suite of resources (Project Gutenberg and others) it throws the net wider than any other app I’m aware of and brings the biggest haul of ebooks for sale and, most especially, freebies from the public domain. Indispensable!

Perfect

Always been a favourite app of mine and the newer design is even better. Would and have recommended to everyone. Still a favourite ten or more years on.

Don’t bother with the paid version

I thought that this was going to be a good app and so I stupidly paid for the full ad free version, not a vast sum but if I wanted to waste money, I would throw it away in my local high street, whatever the finder should want to spend it on it would be more satisfactory than this app. I’ve just given up after over 20 times trying to download the free books and every attempt is greeted with, “unsuccessful “, no how’s and why’s, just one word. It’s not as if the title was obscure, “All Quiet on the Western Front” is a classic and there are untold copies on the app, but conveniently, none of the free versions will download. Of course, I could always buy it, but I won’t on principle, I paid for an app that can find free copies of more books than I could read in a lifetime. I shall seek the book on Amazon for kindle as there are always loads of free books to download.

eBooks Search is a true app

eBook search was something I sought for with fingers crossed. The world became a much nicer place when I found this app. I have never found a greater bargain ever. To lovers of literature I say congratulations! Thank you iBook for this fabulous app. There are several good libraries feeding into this app. Free iBooks and Project Gutenberg being two of the very best.
