Used to be good

I used to use this app to listen local while traveling. For about the last two months, even at home, I get a dead end…and no updates or anything will help. Is this app even still supported or should I find other options to this seemingly SK app? KM6ATS

Nightmarish Application Procedure

Kbig56 on

After 10 attempts to get through the laborious requirements to “verify “ myself, I had to give up on this app. Between their poorly functioning website and the FCC’s ‘lowest bid’ poorly functioning website; and despite having all of the credentials that they claimed I needed, I had to give up. Fuss with fcc license

BadDomino5 on

United States

Look. The fcc website is a paint enough to navigate. I went through all the steps to get my license but your app says it can't take a reference copy. Honestly that's too much effort on my part. Your system needs to be more user friendly. Maybe your app should query qrz or some other database to get my license instead of requiring the user to do it. We have ai now for crying out loud. EDIT: Forgive my earlier frustration, please. I don't have a PC and must do all this with an ipad, which is frustrating enough then add in FCC website woes and the result is a dose of frustration. I could not get the ipad to produce the official copy I needed and fcc.gov was showing its typical charisma. I really think the system needs more automation and less involvement from the end user. After finally getting access to a PC I was able to get the proper license copy. For those who do not have access to a PC, another verification method would be much better.

Unnecessary Game on

This app is great. However there are some small things that can really make a difference. 1) When browsing around while in a QSO, and you find a station that you want to connect to, you have to return to the QSO screen and press end before being able to connect. This is an unintuitive and extra step. 2) I don’t know if this is asking much, but if it’s possible it would be great to have a scan feature where you can make a separate list of Stations to scan. 3) Also maybe asking much- to have a icon or something next to stations that are actively transmitting. (so you can see it while scrolling through your favorites for example). However, being a free app with existing great features, this is a must for any Ham! 73!
