ecMobile

Published by: e-Courier

Description

ecMobile allows users to connect to, and receive dispatches from, many of the nation’s leading courier, delivery, and logistics companies. If you have a truck, car, van, pickup, bike, or even a pair of shoes, you may be a candidate to perform pickup and delivery services in any city in the U.S. Once you have registered with a delivery company, you can receive dispatches right to your device, and provide real time status updates, including bar code scanning data and signature images, back to the delivery company. By simply logging on, you can signal to the delivery company your current location and that you are ready to receive work requests. Please note that this app uses GPS running in the background, which can dramatically decrease battery life.

This app is absolute garbage! If your company makes you use this app please request a change. The one I contract for will not and also doesn't care that there's multiple issues within the app constantly causing delays in work. I don't have the time to go into all of them. But to make matters even worse the company I contract for charges me $5 when I have to call their dispatchers to correct issues with the app!!

Who put this override button in here

The override button is really not needed. Adds time to every stop. I close out every stop mostly before I get there. Hate it!!

Account Switching Issues - Requires Reinstallation for Multiple Login

ZeMKk on

United States

The app works well overall, but I encounter issues when trying to switch between accounts for different companies. After logging out from one company and trying to log in with another username, the app doesn’t allow me to do so. The only solution I’ve found is to delete the app and reinstall it every time I need to switch accounts, which is very inefficient. It would be much more user-friendly if the app allowed for easy switching between multiple accounts without needing to reinstall.

Freezes a lot

Freezes and force closes. I restart my phone and it still continues to do it. Needs to be updated and fixed.

Beware

This app shows that you would pay 9.99 for the app when actually you are paying 17.48 for the app because of premium services, which is charged every seven days. Be mindful of what you guys are downloading with your cards. This is very misleading and the developers need to correct this action immediately. You are charging people an extra 7.49 cents.

Terrible

stmrr5 on

This app is all around terrible it’s not user friendly at all! As a delivery driver I don’t have the downtime it requires to close a simple ticket out not to mention if you don’t have a pickup for that particular stop you can’t just close the pickup ticket out you have to also manually close out the delivery ticket as well and that’s more downtime to go through 4 steps to do so. As a drive for many years I have had the opportunity to use several different apps and this one by far is the worse one I have ever used I really hope the company I contact with changes one day soon!! This app does Not deserve the 1 star I give it!! If you’re a company looking at this app keep looking because your drivers will hate this one!!

It’s a nuisance

I just started a job and this $9.99 app I had to pay for😡. Cannot believe the company is having people pay for this! I was told the newer phone (Android & IPhone) cannot scan the barcodes. Since I cannot scan the barcodes, I have to manually copy and paste invoice numbers that are not easy to copy & paste, the keyboard that is suppose to come up…doesn’t. Signatures don’t save, I’ve been taking screenshots for proof of delivery, it’s not updating ugh. Very difficult to use. As a business owner I would not put drivers through this.

Trash app

MystahJones86 on

I only use it because of my work but the app is trash considering I had to pay to use it but when I do most of my route have unable to determine distance for most of the addresses. I wish my company would use something else either than this. If you’re going make people pay for it at least when I use the distance order option I should be to go to all the addresses with no problem and it should be able to determine distance for all addresses
