Sadly for such a good company a pig’s ear has been made of this (apologies to all pigs) and frankly the best thing to do would be to send whoever was responsible off for re-education, listen to all these loyal customers you’ve managed to exasperate by talking down to us and then delivering something worse than we had before, and reinstate the proper app we had.

I have to look at my Ecotricity account so I log into the old app which doesn’t work so go to the new app which requires a new account which requires an account number which is on my bill which I can’t access because I can’t log into the old app. No thought gone into this at all. Hopeless.

Just the webpage in an app. Nothing extra. Runs slower and jerks a bit. No flash light button when entering meter readings which was nice on the old app. Like most other folk re-registering was a pain and had to email company several times to get on line access re-working. Don’t understand how anyone could sign off on this as being acceptable if they’d seen the old app. Poor reflection on a great company - seeing all these negative reviews might put off new customers…

The old app meter reading submission was better. This feels like a downgrade.
Please add back in to the UI for meter readings:
1. A clear visual indication of whether you’re in the gas or electricity bit
2. The previous meter reading (which can also be a sense check for point 1 above)

Good company from my experience. However, the new app launch has for me been a downgrade. 

I enjoyed the straightforward approach of the previous app. Centred around being able to pay my monthly bill with ease and get back to my day.

Why on Earth would you downgrade to this rubbish app & force all your customers to manually move over & reset their accounts. Ecotricity literally had the best app ever & they’ve gone & downgraded it to this half assed app which looks like my 4 year old daughter made. Absolutely pathetic.

### **--- "Reviewing recent app downgrade only"
The company itself is a champion of green energy and I am very happy to be a customer. However the recent change to the app (which i had to re-download as it didn’t update itself) is a step backwards.

The recent ’new’ app is a total downgrade from the old app that worked fine and had all the relevant information.
New app is just a website wrapper and has been hobbled. Once you are in a screen to enter a reading it no longer shows you what meter you are entering for apart from the serial number, and now the most used function(enter readings) is no longer front and centre, no more easy to select tabs/buttons for readings/help etc and now i have to scroll down to find the enter readings links - simple UX things like this are objectively worse in the new site.
