Doesn’t update balance
Still the last major update, the balance refreshes infrequently. It worked just fine the previous way. Lost stored payment methods. Upside is now I can use Apple Pay, which is quicker.
Other than that I have to physically check the monitor which defeats the objective of having the app to check.
Struggles to pay(mainly for gas)
For some reason I can only pay for electricity on the go but not for gas on the go and since I’ve this set up I never been able prepay. Also when I pay for my electricity I’m unsure if the money will be paid for the electricity or the gas as it doesn’t show what I'm paying for when putting in the amount. Please fix this. Thank you very much.

Try and make payment over and over but it states they didn’t go through. No payments go to meter. No confirmation text or email BUT payments get taken from my credit card!!!
The app NEVER shows my current balance.
I can only ever top up my electric, never my gas.
You can’t stay logged in.
Constantly having to reset password because of problems your end.
Can’t top up both gas and electric at the same time.
Completely useless!
It’s not just the app either, it’s web page as well.
Sick of these thieves!!!

Update
The app updated this morning, and cannot top up and I am out at work all day. The message I get is something went wrong, too many requests. I know I’ll reach out to them, oh no we need your account number!! I’d have it if I could get in to the app. Poor. I’ll be going home to a freezer full of food being wasted!!!!
Useless!
The most recent version on my iPad has now changed so that it can only be viewed in a small iPhone-sized window with the application bar stuck over it which means I cannot use any of the functions through the icons at the bottom making it completely useless for me.I have contacted EDF about similar issues to this in the past and they have never listened before so I doubt anything will change. It means I will have to go back to the web page which at least you can do more with than the (already) poor app.
UPDATE
After a so-called 'upgrade' to the app, my account name, which they have always got wrong despite repeated attempts to correct it, has changed again, and it is still incorrect, plus the meter readings now weirdly have a decimal point at the end and a five character number after it which means nothing to me. The technical staff at EDF are the worst of the worst and I am not wasting my time again to complain to them. I am only writing this to warn others of my experience and their complete unprofessionalism and lack of proper customer service. Needless to say I have now deleted the app. At least the website shows correct meter readings, even if my account name is still incorrect on there!

Worse than useless
The recent updates to account numbers and the app have made it practically useless. All of the historic data that helped me check the performance of my solar energy installation and usage has disappeared and the app performs randomly. I currently can’t use the energy hub from my electricity account but can from the gas one. I can’t even give feedback from inside the app as I get an “unknown network error” every time.
Update 2024 EDF app
This app was brilliant before the recent update it would show real time balance of electricity/gas save you’re card details, now all that has changed it no longer saves you’re card details you got to put them in every single time!
Doesn’t show you the balance anymore just what you topped up last or paid via pay point or DD etc…
and the plastic top up card no longer works you get sent a bar code on a piece of paper (didn’t tell me about I had to find out going to the shop and it wouldn’t work) I had to get laminated so It can be in my wallet without falling apart, and none of my top ups on line through the app was going on i had to constantly ring them every week for 2 weeks to get them to put it on the meter for me. That problem has been resolved now but the app has gone terrible don’t know why you changed it there was nothing wrong with it before but you somehow made it worse…
Still garbage.
Another update and Face ID log in still doesn't work. It's a very basic app and the developers still can't make it work properly. It's utter rubbish. A pity I'm forced to give it 1 ⭐️ rather than the 0 it deserves.🤬
Stopped working since February
The app keeps apparently updating but it is not updating my payment history or bills etc. I have little use for this app if this continues
