## Edge magazine Reviews in United Kingdom

### ***** "Best magazine ever"
The only physical magazine I still buy: NME long dead, Uncut and Select gone or going, Private Eye too depressing. Occasionally get a copy of Empire but not regularly.

I have bought this since the mid 90s. The cover with Rise of the Robots is burned in my brain. I remember when it was preposterously sized, each page as big as a bedsheet.

It is a constant in my life and when it dies I will raise a single hand to this godless universe, extend my middle finger and throw myself violently into a rose bush. Then I’ll get on with my day, but the point will have been made.
-- Binky huskadoo, 2024-03-02

### *---- "Please fix"
Please fix this app - I continue to subscribe because I love the magazine but the app is barely useable for longer than a few minutes at a time before it crashes.
-- Patlowe, 2023-11-16

### ***** "Great App"
Great app which lets me read all the Edge content easily on my iPad or iPhone.
-- ConGodfrey, 2023-05-09

### *---- "Same problem every time a new issue is out"
I took out a full yearly subscription, but every month I have to delete and reinstall in order to be able to download the latest issue. Otherwise it will quite happily take £4.99 from me again without the option to download the latest issue. Do yourself a favour and buy the print version instead with none of this hassle
-- Zaa Zehuti, 2022-08-11

### *---- "Constantly having problems with having to buy new issues with active subscription"
Have an active subscription, checked it’s valid for several more months, sometimes I go into get the new issue this month and it hasn’t added to my catalogue and the only option is to buy it for £4.99. No idea why because it used to work fine and has happened several months now but had issues that are claimable in between. Sick of missing out on issues because of this problem
-- thenorthend2022, 2022-03-09

### *---- "Pure unmitigated garbage"
Good magazine, but the future publishing app platform is absolutely abysmal and barely functional. Half the time it just flat out won’t work, meaning when you get to read the magazine you’ve paid for is at the whim of whether the app feels like working on that particular day.
-- jamesd444, 2022-03-02

### *---- "Disappointing"
Regular crashes. Too many adds asking if I want to purchase all of the back catalogue. A real shame that such a great publication is so let down with this app.
-- wimp77, 2021-12-21

### *---- "Constant nagging"
I wanted to read just the latest issue of Edge, for which I happily paid. But every time I go back to the app it nags me: do a survey, try a trial, etc. Next time paper or, more likely, nothing.
-- mdales, 2021-07-11

### ****- "app doesn’t launch on iPad OS 14.2 (18B5052h)"
can you please fix?
-- Paul_MJ, 2020-10-15

### *---- "Still charges even though I subscribe"
This app is so broken. It still tries to charge me when a new version of the magazine comes out, so I have to reinstall the app every time to get the magazine I already subscribe to. Additionally it has forced advertising, even though I already pay for some things. I really dislike the app, but I love the magazine. I hope the journalists go elsewhere.
