Region always defaults to London Jan 2025
I can’t request recordings for STV programmes as it’s not in the channel list. Deleted and reinstalled app, changed region to Edinburgh and it’s changed itself to London 🤷

If you’re not an EE TV customer but have a YouView box*, you can still use the app for remote recording, and to view your list of recorded and scheduled programmes.
* Not compatible with 1st generation set top boxes (e.g. Humax T1000 / T1010, or Huawei DN370T) or Sony TVs, which are no longer capable of remote recording.

Hopeless
Does not work. EE unable to help. Using latest iPad, app and Ee TV box. Bring back BT.
No subscription found.
Can’t log in to the app. It says to log in with your bt broadband details ( I have broadband and tv with BT and mobile with EE.)when I try to log on on iPhone it says no subscription found ) this is despite bt confirming my sign in details, tech support at bt are hopeless they say the app is useless and I should not bother after a 2hour phone call.
The triumph of optimism over experience
The BT TV app never really worked as far as remotely recording programme on the box from the app. Perhaps the sparkly new EE TV app might be much better? Alas, no - same old inadequate app in new clothing. Considering the premium prices charged for the service, the software leaves much to be desired!
Waste of Time
Saw the app, thought it looked good, but I cant watch anything on it, even stuff I have recorded - struggling to see the point of it
Please bring back the BT app
You eventually managed to bring back the channel numbers, how hard could that have been. Your latest challenge is to let the BT box know that a recording has been requested, not ignored. I’ll check back in another couple of years.

Don’t waste your time a spoof app with no functionality
Downloaded this only to find it is a spoof app rang EE who say it is not a real app anyone can use it to watch tv is just a demo or a guide 😂 still can’t believe this - just why? why waste my time… Been a real chore switching to to EE from BT, the WiFi has such poor range and took ages to set up because of this requiring LAN cables. now it won’t accept my Log in details and I am really fed up with having to ring up and deal with the service team again and again
Problems with v6.2.0
Since upgrading to v 6.2.0, when I schedule a new recording the app throws up a warning “Your recording requests are currently delayed”. The history of the request shows Pending for a while then changes to Failed. That said, the recording request does seem to be sent to my Humax DTRT2000 recorder box and can be seen in the list of scheduled recordings. Unpairing, reinstalling, re-pairing doesn’t resolve this. The app has worked flawlessly until 6.2.0
