A grocery list. A Wi-Fi password. A recipe you'll try once. A thought that only matters today. Effery is a note-taking app where every note has a countdown. Set a timer — one hour, three days, a month — and when it's up, the note disappears. No clutter. No archive guilt. Just the notes that still matter. DESIGNED TO VANISH Every note gets a time-to-live. Pick from 1 hour to 1 month. When the timer runs out, a 24-hour grace period kicks in. After that — gone. BEAUTIFUL BY DEFAULT Notes appear as book spines with hand-crafted patterns. 24 colors across 8 families. 12 base patterns. 6 hidden patterns to discover through gestures, timing, and exploration. 18 PATTERNS. 6 ARE HIDDEN. Shake your phone. Open the app at dinner time. Use a specific color. Place your phone face-down. Each secret pattern unlocks through a different interaction — no instructions, just play. 14 THEMES From warm Sepia and Paper to AMOLED black and Nord blue. A Japan theme inspired by traditional off-white. Find the one that feels like yours. PRIVATE & ENCRYPTED AES-256 encryption. Face ID or password lock. No accounts. No servers collecting your data. Your notes exist on your device and your iCloud — nowhere else. iCLOUD SYNC Seamless sync across your Apple devices. Encrypted end-to-end. Your notes follow you. SMART NOTIFICATIONS Get reminded before a note expires. Alerts from 1 to 24 hours ahead so nothing important vanishes before you're ready. 5 LANGUAGES English, Italian, German, Spanish, French. ORIGIN I wanted to bake pangoccioli — Italian chocolate chip buns — for someone I love. I needed somewhere to save the recipe. Just for that night. I built this app for that one recipe. Then I kept building. Completely free. No ads. No in-app purchases. No tracking. Just a small app made with care. ## Effery Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/d2/24/da/d224dadf-def7-97fb-eff9-03f6ccc940d4/Slice_1__U00281_U0029.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/77/b9/6e/77b96ea8-0bfe-e9d9-5d41-2fbec8730c32/Slice_2.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/87/fa/06/87fa06ba-8cc5-b1be-6243-254e56120df0/Slice_3.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/6c/d6/1a/6cd61a37-5785-1663-d2e8-e13f039a2011/Slice_4.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/87/a7/3b/87a73b19-7d85-7bc7-5972-64417e485547/Slice_5__U00283_U0029.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/2e/73/1c/2e731c4b-621a-d00c-c011-0630ccc444c8/Slice_6.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/64/6c/55/646c5579-711b-60d9-58d1-a299081bff9d/Slice_7.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/5b/dc/4a/5bdc4ad9-d1f2-eb85-b968-e1b7f28b5f61/Slice_8.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 9](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/08/2a/98/082a98fe-b002-d245-23dd-ef04511e5181/Slice_9.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 10](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/94/a1/1a/94a11aa1-1cd5-ae7b-9ef9-f6197d32a293/Slice_10.png/1242x2688.png) ## Apps Similar to Effery - [Bucket List Maker - Life Listr](https://apptail.io/app/bucket-list-maker-life-listr-ygg/united-states) - [Silo: Focus & Study Timer](https://apptail.io/app/silo-focus-study-timer-IVwc/united-states) - [Purelist: Notes & Tasks](https://apptail.io/app/purelist-notes-tasks-jHxc/united-states) - [Disappearing Notes](https://apptail.io/app/disappearing-notes-WYuq/united-states) - [Lystra](https://apptail.io/app/lystra-ROTv/united-states) - [Habit Tracker - Habittr](https://apptail.io/app/habit-tracker-habittr-ZDby/united-states) - [App Blocker OffKit](https://apptail.io/app/app-blocker-offkit-XcCy/united-states) - [HopPT](https://apptail.io/app/hoppt-sbYy/united-states) - [MyBuddy: Everyday Tools](https://apptail.io/app/mybuddy-everyday-tools-nlLz/united-states) ## Effery Available In - [Czechia](https://apptail.io/app/effery-MSTA/czechia) - [Hungary](https://apptail.io/app/effery-MSTA/hungary) - [Kuwait](https://apptail.io/app/effery-MSTA/kuwait) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/effery-MSTA/united-states) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
