Tried with multiple cables on multiple devices but will not connect to the pedal
Had issues getting it to work. Updated firmware on Amp Academy. Had bought an Amazon "Apple Certified" OTG adaptor, and used a standard usb C cable from one of my other devices. Didn't work, was just stuck on the first screenshot "please connet device". Per support email, went and bought the $30 Apple brand adaptor. Still didn't work. Finally went and bought a specific data USB C cable instead of "just" a charging cable, though I don't see how it would make a difference. Finally worked. For those who are having issues, Apple brand OTG adaptor (the "camera connector"), and Walmart's "Onn" brand work. Wasn't thrilled to have to spend another $45 to get this working. App works fine now
Thanks to the developer for following through on creating an iPhone app for editing the NUX Amp Academy. It seems to work just as the desktop app does, but note that you will need to update the firmware on the AA (Aug 2022 or later) or it won’t recognize it. You’ll also need a Lightning to USB-C cable or adapter (which I had). Was pleased to see that it recognized IR cabs stored on the pedal and allows them to be changed by the phone!
