App was broken for a long time and would not update the firmware of the kettle.  Now it works!  Doesn’t do much else, but does what it says now at least.

Configured WiFi to only 2.4, tried several times, resetting the kettle, turning off and on, etc… and the app still won’t update. It’s not clear whether or not the kettle is actually connected to WiFi. Every time the app tries updating it says after awhile it hasn’t been in contact with the kettle. This is not how the user experience of a “premium” product should be.

If you’re going to produce an app. You need to make sure that it works. Just don’t throw something out there. Mine keeps saying that it’s not connecting to the kettle or rather the kettle is not connecting to the app. In troubleshooting it tells me to delete and reinstall the app. I did and doesn’t help.

Unable to update my Fellow kettle firmware. Once the kettle was removed to try again I was now unable to connect the kettle at all. Update: I’ve had the kettle for a few months and it still won’t update regardless of what I do.
