## Élan Description
Your step count, always visible. No app to open. No screen to unlock. Just raise your wrist or glance at your Lock Screen.

Élan is a step counter built around one idea: checking your steps should feel like checking the time. One glance, zero friction.

WATCH FACE COMPLICATIONS
Place your step count directly on your Apple Watch face. Élan supports four complication styles — circular with a progress ring, corner gauge, full-width rectangular with goal progress, and inline text — so it fits the watch face you already use. Your steps are visible every time you raise your wrist, updated in real time while you move.

LOCK SCREEN WIDGETS
See your step count the moment you pick up your iPhone. Élan offers three Lock Screen widget styles: a circular progress ring, a rectangular step count with goal info, and a compact inline display. Your steps are right there, without unlocking.

HOME SCREEN WIDGETS
Add Élan to your Home Screen in small or medium sizes. The small widget shows your step count with a progress arc. The medium widget adds a progress bar and the time of your last update so you always know how fresh the number is.

REAL-TIME STEP COUNTING
On Apple Watch, Élan reads directly from the motion sensor for near-instant updates — your count ticks up within seconds of each step. On iPhone, steps come from Apple Health, keeping Élan's numbers perfectly in sync with the Health app.

DAILY STEP GOAL
Set a personal daily goal or use smart presets. A progress ring fills as you walk, and when you reach your target, Élan celebrates with a satisfying haptic tap on your wrist. Simple, motivating, done.

7-DAY HISTORY
A clean bar chart on iPhone shows your step counts for the past week so you can spot trends and stay consistent. No complex analytics — just the numbers that matter.

DARK AND LIGHT MODE
Élan looks right in every lighting condition. The Watch app uses a true-black OLED background for maximum legibility and battery efficiency. The iPhone app adapts to your system appearance.

PRIVACY FIRST
Élan has no accounts, no sign-ups, no tracking, and no data collection. Your step data comes from Apple Health and never leaves your device. There are no analytics SDKs, no servers, and no network requests. The app works entirely offline.

Élan is free with no in-app purchases.
