Elder Sign: Omens for iPhone

I used to love this game. Now they stopped updating the restore purchases does no longer work.

Game has a potential, but is SO random, that almost not playable. For some there isn't a problem, but I find two other things which are very annoying: 1 - you cannot see Ancient One's details so you never know what to expect at midnight; 2 - game is twice as long as it should be, because of long animations every time when: a) character is changing; b) monster appears; c) midnight arrives. Every time you get too long animations and you have to accept EVERY monster, doom track, and other action. It makes this game annoyingly long.

Her får du god stemning, flott musikk, bra grafikk og ikkje minst eit supert spel for pengane. Eg kunne enkelt sett fem stjerner, men det må vente litt grunna: - skjermen på iPhonen er i grenseland liten for det som skjer. iPad er nok eit betre format. - når ein har klart det nokre gonger, blir det meir ein kamp om å slå sin eigen high score, men sidan utrekninga er litt spesiell, forsvinn det poenget etter ei stund. - Hovudproblemet er at du møter same gud kvar gong, og kan leggje opp ein viss strategi etter det. Spelet får fem stjerner så snart dei legg inn fleire ulike gudar ein kan møte som må bekjempast (no er det berre ein) Likevel; det er verdt pengane den stunda det tek å bli litt lei det. Og om du ikkje skulle fått det med deg; det byggjer på det nesten identiske brettspelet med same namn, men der med langt fleire gudar. Satsar på ei oppdatering snart :)

Don’t get or spend any money on it. Even on easy you can’t win. If you like losing EVERY SINGLE TIME then get it. I like FF board games… this is nothing like that, almost unbeatable.

Hasn’t been updated in five years. Lots of bugs on the iPhone. 13 freezes doesn’t respond to input and so on. Skip it.

I have played omens for a few years and still enjoy it. I have one suggestion, make difficulty a selection in the pre museum screen and not have a difficulty bond to a old one.

This game runs smooth and is true to the table top game. Very few things like spells work a bit different but once you get the rules down super solid. The only bummer is if you turn off your phone screen during a movie scene it completely freezes and you lose progress. Exiting by flipping it up out of the way does it too but only during movies. Usually everything loads back in just fine if it is in between turns. I defeated Nyarlathotep(no spoilers but SUPER tough fight) my break ended during the movie so I had to shut off my screen and when I came back to it, it was stuck and I lost my entire game. I have screenshots of the win and the movies that play but my unlockable character is still locked. I will try to win again but that felt like a once in a while good luck streak to win. P.S. if anyone from Famtasy Flight sees this, is there a way to restore or get my investigator unlocked? If not no biggie but I am curious.

The variability of playing anything above easy feels like the rolls are absolutely against you, giving you everything but the results you need. Makes the game feel frustrating and not at all like you have a chance. I’ve had to start over on just the second level so many times, I may just delete the game out of pure frustration.

Just bought the game and there’s no sound on the iPad or iPhone.
