Description

Quickly calculate conduit bends for a variety of angles and depths.
This app allows an electrician or apprentice to select values for offsets and saddles and be presented with the figures to assist in making a professional installation.
This is the most lightweight app available for conduit bending, and is designed for electricians and apprentices who want an app strictly for quick reference when making saddles and offsets.
Because of its simplicity, electricians and apprentices can rely on this app to open fast, not lag, and never crash. This app is intentionally designed to take up very little memory and processor power and minimize battery drain. It is not designed to teach you how to bend conduit, but rather to provide electricians and apprentices with quick reference to the most frequently used calculations (offsets and saddles).
This app can be used for electrical metallic tubing (EMT), rigid conduit, PVC, or any pipe for that matter.
A bit of advice for the less experienced. When bending larger diameter pipe; try to avoid having bend marks too close together. Not doing this will cause issues when trying to fit the pipe into your bending device because your bender is bigger too and therefore less accommodating.

Great App!

Very useful app for bending conduit offsets. Only option I wish were available would fractional lengths for larger offsets. They go to inch increments around 5” and greater or so. Overall great though!

This app is great super helpful

Great app just missing minor details

It would be nice if they could add quarter inch half-inch and three-quarter inch to the offset measurements for degrees but other than that great app

Works great

Great app could use a reference section.

Would be nice to have a reference section for noobs. The following with pictures would help mitigate allot of “uhhhhh idk what that means boss” but overall a very useful tool! Thank you! 1. Conduit: A protective tube or pipe that houses and protects electrical wiring. Conduits can be made of various materials, including metal, PVC, and fiberglass. 2. Bender: A tool used to create bends and angles in conduit, allowing it to follow the contours of a building or structure. Benders can be manual or hydraulic, and they are designed for specific conduit sizes and types. 3. Bend: The curved or angled section of a conduit formed by the bender. Bends allow conduits to navigate corners and obstacles, and they must meet specific angle and radius requirements to ensure proper functionality and adherence to code. 4. Centerline Radius (CLR): The distance from the center of the conduit's curve to the midpoint of its width. CLR affects the degree of bend and the required bending force. 5. Deduct: The difference in length between the straight conduit and the bent conduit. When making a bend, some length is lost due to the curvature, which must be accounted for when measuring and cutting conduit. 6. Stub-up: A short section of conduit that rises vertically from a junction box or other electrical device. The stub-up length is measured from the bottom of the conduit to the center of the bend. 7. Back-to-back bend: Two consecutive bends in the same direction with a straight section of conduit between them. This type of bend is often used to navigate around obstacles or to change conduit levels. 8. Offset bend: Two bends in opposite directions with a straight section of conduit between them, used to raise or lower the conduit to avoid obstacles or to align with a junction box or other device. 9. Three-point saddle: A combination of three bends, creating an "S" shape that allows the conduit to pass over or under an obstacle while maintaining a consistent level. 10. Four-point saddle: Similar to a three-point saddle, but with an additional bend, resulting in a double "S" shape. This type of bend is used when a greater height change is needed to clear an obstacle. 11. Gain: The increase in length along the centerline of the conduit as a result of a bend. Gain is used to determine the length of conduit needed to complete a bend 12. Take-up: The additional conduit length required for a bend, measured from the end of the conduit to the referenc

I’m a journeyman electrician in Texas. Old school guys will say “I never needed that crap when I bent pipe.” That’s why their pipe looks terrible and mine is on point. This app helps beginners and pros bend pipe. Love the app, I recommend highly.

I use this app almost daily when I’m feeling too lazy to do all the math for bending myself. I do recommend it
