## ELEGOO Matrix Description
ELEGOO Matrix App is an all-in-one smart app designed for ELEGOO 3D printers. It supports both Resin and FDM printers, helping you connect  and manage printers, discover models,  control print jobs remotely, monitor print progress, view print history, and respond to printing issues with ease.

With the app, you can easily connect and manage your printers, browse a wide range of free models in the Nexprint model library, discover creative content and practical print ideas, and start print jobs quickly. During printing, the app lets you check real-time progress, remaining time, and printer status. If a printer issue occurs or a print job is interrupted, the app will notify you promptly so you can identify and resolve issues faster.

When this app works, it’s good. Can do some minor control of the printer but the best part is being able to monitor the process via the camera…when it works.

And it rarely does. Everything else will display as usual in the app, but the camera constantly, consistently, and frequently FAILS. And there’s no rhyme nor reason as to why. Nor is there anything logical that makes it come back. 

As it is, for what many of us use it for…it’s worthless.

The limited functions that the app has do work as expected, but it is incredibly limited in capability.  The app is essentially nothing more than a remote viewing at the printer status.  Try to keep up with your competitors to earn a higher review.

I’ve just recently purchased the CC2 (Centauri Carbon 2). The only downside to the printer is this app. The fact it doesn’t allow the user to slice within the app. It doesn’t allow users to upload models or files from the mobile device. These are key features other 3d printing apps offer. Also this app doesn’t allow me to input my region which is North America

To some it up this app isn’t in comparison with its competitors. NO BUILT-IN SLICER!

This app works fine to control basic features such as hot plate and nozzle temperature plus you can monitor it via the camera while away from the office or home.  

This would be a 5 star app if they made more of the print library available. I keep running into “coming soon” or must open by slicer program on pc. You also don’t have any dynamic control over the prints, such as making them bigger or multiples. Also, you have to dig through menus to find out your recent print history. This should be at the very top, but it only allows you to show prints that you’ve recently browsed and that can make it hard if you’ve spent some time on the library. 

On the whole this app has really taken off over the last few months as I think more people are discovering it. I really hope the developers add more control features and make more prints available.

The app worked fine until the last update dumped all of my printers and the only way to log into your account is by using a phone number but even then it won’t send you a verification code to the provided phone number. Why isn’t there an option to log into using the same methods as elegoo slicer or satalite? The app is unusable in its current state.

The app itself was nice, and the model searching was smooth, with descriptions, photos, and reviews all working. However, it wasn’t(unless they have changed it) compatible with my printer(Centauri Carbon 1). So, I wasn’t able to test the functionality of the app itself. 
If you’re curious, the models they support(as of right now - or 7/30/26) are:

The app is good but the first few days I would have to open/close it around 5 times for it to see CC2 but after a few days it fixed itself. I do wish we would be given the option to see the prints that are in the USB in order to print. I sometimes want to print when away and forget to start the print before I leave home.  I also wish we could see the timelapse from the app and save it from the app as well. I always forget I have to go through the printer settings. It’s hidden which sucks.

This app doesn’t connect with Saturn 16k ultra models. Scanning the code doesn’t add a printer.

Between their cloud issues and this app it renders this app useless.  Constant drops and instability.  When you contact Elegoo they just give you same generic “we are working on it”. Even the most recent release of my firmware did NOTHING.  Have followed all network recommendations.

It’s a shame because the design of the app is nice. You just can’t use it.

For the love of god, STOP having the app sign out every 2 minutes . It’s freaking ridiculous that I have to resign in multiple times, and then when I am, the app says it can’t find the printer. It’s driving me crazy. Please fix!
