And this version uses font that are huge, is super slow to load, and I can’t see all my account accounts at the same time or can I see the options of transactions to do at the same time. For the way I use the app, the last version was way better. -- Indysouthreviewer, 2025-07-23 ### *---- "App blocked and monthly payment refused unless I authorized an additional, oversized charge" On May 15, 2025 I attempted to make my regular monthly payment of $706.20 through Elements Financial’s mobile app, only to find my account blocked without explanation. I called the collections line and spoke first with Kaylan and then Laura. After more than 25 minutes: 1. They refused to accept my on-time payment unless I provided my card and agreed to a second, automatic charge of $1,429.90 on June 29, 2025 (covering an extra installment, late fees, and part of the past-due balance they calculate). 2. They insisted my loan was 42 days late, ignoring that I have paid every month (Feb 20, Mar 19, Apr 24) — simply not on their preferred 7th of the month. 3. When I finally authorized the one payment, they ran the card twice until it was declined, then told me to “borrow from family or friends.” 4. They refused to unblock the app until I accepted their larger payment plan, leaving me no practical way to stay current. The approach was unprofessional, inflexible, and coercive: they blocked my payment channels, tried to impose unauthorized auto-debits, and suggested I seek outside cash. In my view this is an abusive practice that puts both my credit and my vehicle at risk. -- Jesus89x2, 2025-05-19 ### *---- "Ruined interface" Newest visual update ruined the interface and made it much harder to tell at a glance what is in all my accounts. They instead added stupid flashing banners and a Zelle button both taking up huge amounts of space. On top of everything the entire app now runs incredibly slow. Personally I think the developers behind the latest version of the code are sloppy and lazy and do not understand basic app visual design -- Mseevers, 2025-04-22 ### **--- "Add location services choices" This app needs to have all three choices available in iOS under location services. Please add the choice "While using the app" as using "Always" for a setting is an unnecessary battery drain and using "Never" requires user go into phone settings to switch to "Always" to find nearby locations. Also find a location within the app defaults to nearby and gives no flexibility to find locations elsewhere other than moving the map around. Add an address search box! 10-6-2024 Previously reported problem has definitely been fixed. I do frequently run into a problem where transactions are not calculated properly and I have no idea how much is in my account, particularly because this happens most frequently with larger transactions. The app is good for those who like everything in one place but not great for money management if you don’t know your balance. -- Yoyocookies, 2024-04-23 ### **--- "Keeps kicking me out" Clicking the back navigation button logs me out of the app. So always have to click on the Menu and select an option from there again. Depositing a check kicks me out as well and there is no way to tell if the check was deposited or not. Gave up after 3 attempts and now when I login it says deposit failed since it’s a duplicate deposit.
