ELEVATE SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
Elevate offers a 7-day free trial as well as a basic free version. To access the free version, tap the X in the upper left-hand corner after you sign up for an account.
If you choose to subscribe, you will be charged a yearly subscription fee according to your country. The subscription fee will be shown in the app before you complete the payment. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each subscription term, unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the term. Subscription renewals cost the same as the original subscription, and your credit card will be charged through your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase.
You may manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time after purchase by going to your iTunes Account Settings. Refunds will not be given for any unused portion of the term.

Randomly closes

Great app, but it randomly closes sometimes when I’m in the middle of a game. It’s very annoying because it ruins my progress.

Automatically charges on ‘free’ trial

Gives 7 day trial and says you’ll be notified to cancel but that is ignored and money comes straight out of your account. Very annoying

Bad quality game design

I like the idea of this app. But the games are not intelligently designed. You have all these writing, speaking and reading exercises, but you only either train something you definitely know about, or something that has to do with words or concepts you aren’t even familiar with. This results in that you only train focus and memory. Instead, they should focus on exposing users to new words or language concepts. Also, comma training is good, but it’s on time, and that inhibits the learning process. Instead, make the game sessions a bit longer, and quit the time deadlines on the games that require learning new skills. There are plenty of games in the app that train focus and memory. I’m not gonna go further in detail with other bad game designs, but almost all of them where a waste of time if you really want to improve your language skills (and the language games accounts for most of the games). All in all, I only downloaded this app because my peak app didn’t work, and I miss that app, because the games are designed better. Try again. I felt like this app had such an unfair price and subscription model. Not ethical. Other apps are doing better.

Almost great!

Frist of all, I’m gonna start with the positives: the app has tons of amazing lessons that you can legitimately learn a lot from. Especially a couple with speed reading was great. So the lessons it self was great. The negatives are more about the execution of the app. In the face of it there’s not a lotta ads… from other companies, but it is CONSTANTLY showing advertisements for the pro version basically every time you press a button, it is so extremely annoying. Please fix this🫠🫠

Just say trial for 7 days then buy, not buy I app!

Sent fake subscription email

I just received an email saying that my trial was up in two days. I have never signed up for anything, so I Downloaded the app just to check. It confirmed I have never signed up. Maybe it is just a mistake but it Seems like a sketchy way to get me to re-download the app.

No option to delete data

There is no option to delete your account if you don’t wish to continue with the app, they will keep your data who knows how long. The only option is to send an email requesting to delete your data, which is a pain. Also, they will send you almost daily spam emails with “promotions” and reminders.
