Users can set the pace of animations, vibrations, and sounds. These stimuli are synchronized to replicate the benefits of EMDR therapy in any setting without the expensive, bulky equipment. Users can also use the app with just a single phone or two phones. All of this for free. No external, annoying ads. The core of EMDR therapy is bilateral stimulation—alternatively stimulating each side of the brain with sounds, lights, and vibrations. EMDR is a scientifically proven method of dealing with stress, anxiety, and other negative psychological conditions. The EMDR Tappers app combines the benefits of bilateral stimulation with positive affirmations. These affirmations are delivered bilaterally to help re-program your brain with healthy thoughts and beliefs. EMDR is a “strongly recommended” technique by the leading veterans' organizations, and the American Psychiatric Association has noted that EMDR is effective for treating PTSD symptoms. The premium version of the app allows users to set the color of the animation, choose the sound, and save custom settings as well as access preset settings. Download the app today to experience the power of bilateral stimulation. It doesn’t vibrate. Just sound and a bouncing ball." The vibrations function (you know the tapper portion) does not work. After watching some reviews on YouTube, I quickly realized it’s the app not me. Their own instructional video on YouTube doesn’t even acknowledge that a vibrations function exists. -- knotminaim, 2024-12-06 ### *---- "Not bilateral" I really wanted to like this app! But whether it’s on my phone or my iPad, the tones are not bilateral. They only sound in one ear. Any help for me? -- thevic58, 2024-11-23 ### ***** "Super helpful! I think! First day" Great and easy to use! -- kmbkelseymariebell, 2024-10-14 ### ***-- "Doesn’t really work with Apple Watch" I think this is a cool idea. I don’t have two phones so maybe it works great that way. The tapping does not work on the watch past the 70 second stay awake which is the max stay awake setting the Apple Watch allows. I would not have given this review but the developer keeps saying that the app works well with Apple 5+ because they have the setting that it can stay awake forever, but that’s not the case. I have a series 9 and the max setting is still 70 seconds before it goes to sleep and stops pinging the watch. I tried keeping my thumb on the watch to keep it awake like someone else suggested and that did not work. I just think this app doesn’t work well with the Apple Watch do to the limitations of the Apple Watch design. It’s a shame. -- Amm5db, 2024-09-16 ### ***** "EMDR Tappers is a helpful app" I am very happy with this app. It works great and allows you a lot of customization. -- benn15, 2024-05-31 ### **--- "Doesn’t work with watch" After 4-5 taps it stops vibrating on the Apple Watch. -- Amy13M, 2024-05-21 ### ****- "iPhone use" I’m using the light option on my iPhone. I find it easy to use. However, I’m not sure on the speed. I’m guessing and I’m wondering if that’s OK. -- Weej ooo, 2024-04-22 ### ***** "So good" I’m still amazed by how my life changed with EMDR. This helped so much in between sessions. -- Ms.Infinite, 2024-04-06 ### *---- "Doesn’t work" I paid the $10 for the haptics to work. It doesn’t work. Don’t waste your time or money on this app. -- ftrggesf, 2023-12-01 ### ***** "Great so far" I’ve added this to my emdr treatment and it’s fantastic.
