Love the magazine, hate the app.
Love the magazine, hate the constantly crashing app which forces me to re-download issues every single time I open it.

Thanks for nothing, Empire. Updated the app and you've deleted all my issues. I live in Australia, we pay through the nose for internet data, and I'll be damned if I'm paying to re-download all those issues.
Paid up users locked out
The newest version of the app requires ios6 yet my original ipad cannot support that. So the latest version of the magazine will not download -it keeps telling me to upgrade to a version of the app that I cannot access Nice way to treat a paid subscriber! It's not the only Bauer magazine app to lock out a paying customer. I have had the same issue with other magazine apps. How about looking after your subscribers,Bauer!!

Great app, with awesome use of the new media outlet. However, it would be nice to be able to pause the downloads of the issues (especially when they are so large).
The Empire Magazine We All Know & Love BUT INTERACTIVE
Amazing magazine that translates to this interactive e-magazine so well! Like someone before mentioned, yes the file sizes are a bit big but this includes everything so you don't need Internet access to enjoy this! Makes reading magazines even more fun. Well. You know what I mean. Ha

Even better than the paper version! Nice work, Empire.
Great Magazine. Still a few bugs.
While other people complain about the size of issues, everything in the mag is downloaded, including all imbedded videos/trailers ect, so no requirement for Internet for anything, which is great on the go. While it has crashed every now and then in the past I haven't had any issues recently (1g iPad). Great articles and reviews. Will be using far into the future.
