Thanks for nothing, Empire. Updated the app and you've deleted all my issues. I live in Australia, we pay through the nose for internet data, and I'll be damned if I'm paying to re-download all those issues.

The newest version of the app requires ios6 yet my original ipad cannot support that. So the latest version of the magazine will not download -it keeps telling me to upgrade to a version of the app that I cannot access 
Nice way to treat a paid subscriber!
It's not the only Bauer magazine app to lock out a paying customer. I have had the same issue with other magazine apps.
How about looking after your subscribers,Bauer!!

Amazing magazine that translates to this interactive e-magazine so well! Like someone before mentioned, yes the file sizes are a bit big but this includes everything so you don't need Internet access to enjoy this! Makes reading magazines even more fun. Well. You know what I mean. Ha

While other people complain about the size of issues, everything in the mag is downloaded, including all imbedded videos/trailers ect, so no requirement for Internet for anything, which is great on the go.

While it has crashed every now and then in the past I haven't had any issues recently (1g iPad).

Great articles and reviews. Will be using far into the future.

As a movie lover there is no finer magazine in my opinion. I love the iPad edition, as its always available. I often just flick it open to have another read.

Sometimes has glitches but that doesn't concern me as the effort in producing this is obviously high and in the few months I have been subscribed, the issues are reduced meaning they have obviously worked hard on stabilising it.

Love it, get the app and keep the best movie magazine in the world at your fingertips.

Tempted by the special 99c offer on at the moment but amidst all the crashing problems (iPad3) I notice that the latest issue I've purchased is a whopping 597Mb!!! More than half a gig! (Free Samplers are pushing 100Mb up to 300Mb too)

If you want digital mags to be viable, put this down as "must try harder". Might be fantastic on the iPad but if you think I'm wasting so much time and so much of my download allowance on downloading such a hefty mag you're mistaken. Had I paid full price I'd be looking for a refund. For 99 cents it's not worth the effort.
