Every driver that has picked me up asks for money about halfway through. Cars always smell horrible. The last driver that picked me up kept asking for my age and staring at my friend and I while asking inappropriate questions. Saving money with this scam of an app is not worth it.

I used this app a few times and liked it a lot. The price was cheaper and I could get a ride easily when other apps had very high demand and high prices like when we leave a concert. However, they have severe safety issues. They don’t seem to background check their drivers and there were several instances where the car did not match what it said on the app. I’ve had several unhinged drivers who have insane stories and erratic driving. They also will charge you more money than they initially say. The drivers never know how to get places and you end up waiting forever. I like the idea of this app but they need to get their act together. I might give them another chance later but I can’t wait 30 minutes everytime I need to go to work.

Are your drivers screened before allowing them to register under your company? Patrons have complained about price gouging and unprofessionalism! I know Lyft and Uber drivers cars are very clean; they sometimes offer condiments like water; snacks! Maybe y’all should consider something’s to lure customers to your site; but come on at least have them clean their cars and drive safely!

I entered my work address, but the app kept replacing it with a random number. This issue made the app unusable for me, so I decided to delete it. It's not worth keeping if it can't accept the correct address.

I really liked Empower as a more affordable alternative to other ride apps and encouraged friends to use it. Increasingly, the price I’m quoted when reserving a ride has little relation to the actual price I’m charged (it will predictably jump by a few dollars each time, which defeats the purpose of showing the price). Increasingly, dirty and smelly cars are picking me up. Or drivers who are talking loudly on speakerphone into a mobile that they’re holding in their hand to also navigate. Very poor predictability in price and consistency in quality.

I’ve been using this app for the last few months and here are my thoughts: PROS *It’s usually cheaper than other apps, especially during rush hour CONS *The price I pay is never usually the same price I get charged for. *They charge you usually $5-$7 more dollars than your actually ride when you initially call them *The location on the app is terrible. Drivers can never see my exact location. *I live in a major city, and alot of drivers who use this app seem to be green to driving in the city. Not sure what incentive there is to get them to sign up. * The app lags terribly, I never know exactly where the driver is, so I tend to wait outside 4 minutes before they arrive so I can know they are here.

Empower cars are more available in my area than Ubers are which is super convenient. HOWEVER, it would be nice if the app required their driver’s cars to be CLEAN Good grief. I have to keep my window down, even during the winter, because the car usually stinks. Eventually people will rather pay more money to drive in a car that doesn’t smell like BO, and this app will cease to exist because their quality control is nonexistent. I very infrequently get a car that is clean on the outside and the inside. Do better, yall.

Company does not care about you as a rider. I was dropped off at a location that was not what I put in the app. I showed the driver and still told me to get out. Contacted the company and they said ride was complete which it wasn’t. I was still 2 miles from the address in the app. Avoid this app
