Description

Get the edge you need to pass the NREMT, with EMT Review Plus

And get that edge whenever and wherever you have a minute to study, whether you’re on a mobile device or sitting at your computer. Using this easy-to-navigate app, you’ll hone your knowledge of the following topics, critical to being fully prepared for your NREMT or state certification exams:

Preparatory
Airway
Assessment
Medical Emergencies and OB
Trauma Emergencies
Special Populations
Operations

Unique to a number of the Limmer apps, including EMT Review Plus, is additional content and a structure that will teach you to better read and understand an exam question. We’ll teach you how to identify a question’s key parts and solve the puzzle within while increasing your knowledge of medical terminology and pathophysiology.

EMT Review Plus will improve your thinking skills

Critical Thinking: these questions expose you to concepts and content vital to thinking critically (by analyzing, assessing and reconstructing a situation) and understanding your patients, as well as the test questions!

Mental Conditioning: you’ll literally get a workout for your brain, with questions containing key fact patterns. It’s these fact patterns you need to learn to recognize for the exam.

EMT Review Plus will improve your technical skills

Medical Terminology: you can’t answer an exam question or talk to a patient unless you know the language. Here, you’ll speak and understand the language of medicine by reviewing common and important terms.

Pathophysiology: today’s EMTs need to know more pathophysiology than ever before. This section will help you better understand key pathophysiological principles and relate them to the exam.

You’ll master key EMT concepts through repeated practice with flash cards, review questions and NREMT-style, timed practice exams. Plus, in the Review and Testing sections, you’ll get the rationale behind the right answer, including information you need to be a better test taker and EMT.

Good

Passed in 70 using this app, it’s very helpful as it gives explanations and the way the flash cards are divided into sections is very useful for targeted studying. -1 start because it’s an expensive app.

Meh

gavindavis11 on

Some information is completely outdated app is in dire need of an update. Some questions are wrong and you’ll know this because the explanation contradicts the “right answer” that it shows you. App is extremely basic and could definitely have been made wayy better and some functions could definitely be improved. Overall just meh

Okay but not like the NREMT

Billysitch on

So, this app is amazing at educating you on all things EMT. It gets you used to sort of what the questions on the exam are like. If you didn’t get a lot of true knowledge in class then this is beneficial. It has in detailed explanations of what terms are and functions of things. Is it like the actual exam? NO. Nothing can prepare you for that test single handedly. You have to gather significant external resources to do well.

App not working

apple butter but on

Played with it for a couple days and I loved it. Now it glitches and it ultimately had some type of myocardial infarction and went into complete cardiac failure and just died. I didn’t even bother implementing any life saving interventions. However the other more expansive app from limmer is pretty dope.

Glitchy

my lawd no on

Some questions contradict each other. When I’m in the middle of a practice test, the app goes blank and it stays like that. Also some of the answer choices and explanations made little to no sense. This app needs a major update and re-evaluation. The price is too expensive for this app....

Glitchy

Elchainsaw13 on

I would’ve given this app 5 stars if it hadn’t been so glitchy. I would find myself in the middle of a practice test and all of the sudden the app is frozen or I cannot click the submit button. It makes it extremely difficult to see how you are doing when you cannot get a test score

Over priced

A sad man on

There are a lot of free apps that are much better that do the same exact thing I’d maybe pay two dollars for this app I definitely regret this purchases.

Questions are great, just very glitchy

Devineloveg on

I haven’t taken my nremt yet but I used this app to help pass my emt class, I would give 5 stars but the app itself glitches so much that I have to delete the app for it work and if you aren’t logged in before it glitches you will have to delete all your progress. Had to delete at least 5 times

Used app 5 months after Completing the class

This app is sooo good. Used it for 2 weeks for about an hour and a half before bed each night after not studying for 5 months. And passed NREMT first attempt, highly recommend! #TPL

A really great tool definitely worth the money

Tbone bird on

The app is really good I passed my first time using it. The information in the questions definitely makes you get prepared for a lot of things you might see on the NREMT
